Was banning of Shinchan in India right?

Hey , today I realised that hungama is not showing new episodes of famous cartoon shinchan.
I asked the same to my cousin and she replied that it is banned.
On searching @google.com , i found that ministry of information and broadcasting has banned the 'popular cartoon' due to complaints by parents.
I have seen some parents watching the show themselves with kids and some complaining. The exit of shinchan from indian television would have made many kids and adults unhappy... Do u think it was a correct decision to completely ban that cartoon? I will get back for comments..

U realised it now?i am regretting this since so many months now. 2 -3 months.

and it is not at all fair for them to bann shinchan.

bann karna hai to Ftv karo and other stupid channels. those channels are not banned. vulgarity in serials movies are not banned. it does not hurt parents to take their children to watch dostana but to watch shinchan it does. i dont think children are so naive now a days with all these channels and movies. so y shinchan sld be the only one to bear the grudge. i think that show should be started again with due respect.

May be in a way good for kids. Can you imagine "Shinchan" being shown here in USA? The kid getting left-right-center DHULAI from his parents. Don't know if that's the reason it got banned in India.

Shin-Chan is shown in the United States. The funimation edit airs on cartoon networks Adult-Swim segment. I am not familiar with Shin-Chan or the reason for its airing or banning. But I wonder if potential content concerns had anything to do with it. From what I understand Hungama is a kids channel and it usually is unusual for a kiddie channel to have so much anime lineup. Anime is typically intended for a tween plus age group.

But as always, as with any form of censorship - it just is totally ridiculous and overboard. Parents should be influencing and raising children - not the television. Problems arise only when stupid parents let the mass media influence their children.

the hindi dubbed version was i think very different from the english one....in hindi version...he sang totally filmy songs.....this quality of shinchan always made made me laugh😆

it should be parents who should control their childern....and decide what is right and what is wrong for them....not such bans...because it is not the justice with the fans...

i remember my english teacher saying(a year back) that her 5 year old son watches shinchan and she likes him tooo...so such parents do exists who themselves dont have any problem with it...

In india it has been banned mainly becoz of his comments the way he runs behind girls and all those lurid remarks he gives which is right to a certain extent but i dont think it should have been banned. either those episodes should not have been shown or those lines would have been dubbed differently. banning the whole show is totallt ridiculous.
