Katrina bags acting award - An article

It's raining awards for Katrina Kaif. The actress bagged the Sahara Samay Best Actress award for her performance in Race recently. With all the awards coming her way Katrina is the best bet for producers and filmmakers. "Katrina bagged the maximum votes on Sabse Favourite Kaun. That clearly indicates that she is a favourite amongst the masses," said a friend of the actress. Katrina had the maximum number of hits last year. Race was a blockbuster and Singh is Kinng was a big hit at the box office too. She also won a people's choice award given out by Aaj Tak.

"Katrina is on cloud nine. Besides all awards coming her way, she is also the people's favourite actress. Katrina is happy to have found acceptance amongst the audience here," added the friend. She was also the most googled Bollywood celebrity in 2008. Katrina has decided to work harder on her roles and films. "Having been accepted, she now wants to give her best shot to the films that she is doing in 2009. There's Rajkumar Santoshi's Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani with Ranbir Kapoor, Yash Raj Films' New York opposite John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh and Priyadarshan's De Dhana Dan with Akshay Kumar. Katrina will also be seen in a cameo in Ashtavinayak's Blue.
