The fight was over the grand finale act of the show for which Priyanka Chopra had already been chosen by the organizers. But, when Katrina Kaif got a whiff of it, she insisted on doing the finale act herself. As Priyanka had already prepared for the act, she was not ready to forego her chance and a heated argument took place between the two bollywood beauties behind the stage. For some time, an atmosphere of chaos prevailed with nobody knowing exactly what would happen next if the dispute was not resolved in time for the performance.
However, after some persuasion from the organizers, Priyanka Chopra relented and became ready to give Katrina Kaif the chance to perform the finale act. The organizers heaved a sigh of relief at Priyanka's magnanimity and thanked her profusely after the show was saved from interruption.
Sources say that it all happened as Kareena Kapoor, who was supposed to perform on the occasion, had backed out at the last moment. And to fill that time another act with Arjun Rampal was planned. Arjun was slated to perform an act from his film 'Rock On!!' to fill that time of Kareena on the show. After that four divas, namely, Katrina, Bipasha, Deepika and Priyanka were supposed to come on the stage
But when Katrina Kaif learnt that Priyanka had been given the chance to perform the finale act by coming in the last, she threw tantrum and managed to have her way. The insiders say that perhaps it had something to do with the not-so-good equation between Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra.
On the award front, Akshay Kumar, who had been adjudged as the best actor in popular category for his film 'Singh Is King', created a sensation by refusing to take the award home. Akki argued that Aamir Khan was the right person to be awarded with this honor for his role in super duper hit 'Ghajini'.
Aishwarya Rai was given the award for best heroine (in popular category) for her role in 'Jodha Akbar', while Priyanka Chopra received the best actress award for 'Fashion.' Similarly, Hrithik Roshan was honored with the best actor award for his role of Emperor Akbar in 'Jodha Akbar.'
