Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif had a major issue over the grand finale act during an awards event held last evening

Earlier this week we had reported that Kareena Kapoor had let the organisers of an awards event held last evening, down at the last minute. Kareena's exit created a one-and-a-half minute space. After some quick thinking the organisers asked Arjun Rampal to perform on a Rock On number along with Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Bipasha Basu and Deepika Padukone, with Priyanka performing the grand finale. Our source from the venue told us that when Katrina got wind of the plan, she was upset and insisted that she wanted to be the last one to perform.
Apparently backstage a major argument flared up between the two divas, Priyanka and Katrina. Our source said, "Both Priyanka and Katrina had to step on the stage along with Bipasha and Deepika while Arjun Rampal waited for them."
Our source revealed, "Priyanka did not like it and stood her ground. There was huge chaos all around and the organisers didn't know what to do." However, better sense prevailed and Priyanka decided to step aside and let Katrina enter last.
All were relieved. "If Priyanka hadn't agreed to step aside Arjun's act would have gone for a toss. One must say that Priyanka was magnanimous. The organisers were shocked when they learnt about Priyanka and Katrina's fight."
We aksed Katrina if she got into an argument with Priyanka, she said, "Frankly, I don't care about such things. And don't be silly. I was always supposed to enter last and that's what I am doing."
Priyanka's official spokesperson was more forthcoming. She said, "For Priyanka, all that mattered was that the show turns out well. She is a thorough professional and was accommodating. At the end of the day, the show must go on."
History has it that Priyanka Chopra and Salman Khan's families have never been too comfortable with each other. Salman and Priyanka were very good friends and even acted opposite each other in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Salaam-e-Ishq. But later, Salman replaced Priyanka with Katrina in London Dreams. Then, Sohail Khan offered Priyanka a role opposite himself in his co-production Main and Mrs Khanna, but Priyanka refused. Then, there were reports that Salman has not taken Priyanka's decision well and now is back to cold-shouldering her. Now with this standoff between Salman's girlfriend Katrina and her, we wonder if we will ever see the two beauties together or Salman romancing Priyanka on screen, ever.
