Actresses and tantrums go hand in hand but actors and insecurity…? Nevertheless that's just what happened with director Deepak Tijori's Fox. Lead actor Sunny Deol got so insecure about Arjun Rampal's role that he asked the producers to rework the script. "Sunny thought that Arjun's role had worked out to look meatier than his role and he conveyed his apprehensions to the producer and director," said our source.
Being the bigger star, Sunny had his way with the script. The storyline and the film's climax had to be suitably altered to beef up Sunny's screen time. This upset the producers as the modified script would require an additional shoot sequence of 15 days which in turn would bust the film's budget. Even the dubbing and editing schedules were interrupted. The film was initially scheduled for a March 27,2009 release but the fussy changes may lead to a delay.
Producer Rohit Kumar (Zee) simply laughed when we questioned him, "A small part of the film has to be shot in Goa. It has nothing to do with Sunny's demand." Our source, however, insisted that the Goa sequence was over.
When contacted Deepak just said, "We start our next schedule from Jan 20,2009."
