true true true there are many religious marriage traditions whether in islam, hindus, christian, judaism and many other religions but it is up to the couple whether they want to follow these traditions or not. if they don't want to follow these traditions they can always just sign the register and marriage certificate without any religious tradition in marriage such as nikkah or saath phere or many others.

The truth is that throughout history people have married for the convenience of using one another. It was either to procreate for continuation of the lineage, amass quantities of wealth, establish military, trade or logistic relationship. Or simply work out some sort of beneficial arrangement. Marriage is a means of maintaining the purity of bloodlines, class, religion and social status. Marriage is a way of systematically excluding the mutts, the mudbloods and mongrels from any counts and feeling good about it because it is a culturally and religiously significant thing to do.

In modern times the benefit of marriage has expanded. Now marriage can also be used to decide which country one can live in. Society at large benefits from marriage by filling our empty minds with fun games like how long it will last, who will cheat first, or come up with creative reference terms like Brangelina and Bennifer. Without marriage our lives will indeed be thoroughly boring and there will be nothing newsworthy to ponder on.

Our ancestors realized this important significance of marriage. That is why historically, culturally and religiously people were expected to marry the sanctity of marriage. There was none of this love rubbish. It was illegal to marry someone outside your class, your religion, your skin color, your social status, your cast and all the crucial religious and cultural divisions that were in place for the benefit of society. Our great religions and cultures started going downhill when this stupid love virus started infecting the world. Princes wanted to marry paupers and fair skinned people were enamored with the dark skinned ones. Oh the blasphemy and sacrilege of such thoughts. Unfortunately society decided to destroy years of rich traditions and allow such blasphemic acts like marrying someone you love.

It is only us to blame that we come to a point in society where the precious few religious and cultural values that we hold near and dear to our hearts are attacked by boy lovers and other such unnatural men and women who want to marry people of their own gender. Marriage for love. Never have our values been attacked so ferociously. It is almost as if our culture and religion is being raped by these blasphemous sinners.

Save the sanctity of marriage. If we put our foot down now and stamp out this gibberish of love, we will be able to erase the deadly bug of love that has eaten away at society. Perhaps if we hold our ground now, we can slowly revert back to the days of glory and harmony where the lines, rules and borders were drawn thick and clear.

Marriage always ought to be the pure religious and cultural institution it was intended to be so we can feel good about binding ourselves in legal contracts like chattel. This way we can feel superior to prostitutes or worse simple inanimate traded commodities. Religious and cultural stamps of approval can work miracles.

I believe in miracles and so should you. Say no to unholy matrimony.
