UK Box Office: Ghajini takes Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi slot
Yes it's absolutely true. The Aamir Khan action flick Ghajini, has taken over the
slot vacated by Shah Rukh Khan's comedy romance Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. According to UK Box Office stats, Adlabs release Ghajini made a staggering $463,733 in it's first week of release. This meant it was the fourth highest new entry of the week and one of Aamir Khan's best ever openings in the UK. Being shown on 49 screens, it's per screen average stood at $9,464. It entered the charts at number 7, the exact slot where Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi stood last week.Rab Ne… is still making moolah though as it nears the $2m mark. Now in it's third week, the Yash Raj Films release collected a respectable $243,692, taking its total tally to $1,766,838. It dropped 5 places from 7 to 12.
