It wasn't even for Ranvir!

She did it for Aalekh. Aalekh saying he'll respect and love her and also him falling sick is why she changed her mind.

She's going to be the old Vasu towards Ragini once she wins over her boys. She's killing two birds with one stone; gaining Aalekh back and also not losing Ranvir.

Bari shatir deemag hai Vasundraji ki. Mamiji is the only one who can see this partly because she's the same way (to some extent), lol.

Yepp!! Vasu is a very pahunchi huyee cheez! A khatarnak khiladi!😈😆

What an amazing character....on one side we can sympathize with her raw longing for her son, and on the other side we KNOW that it is that very longing which is the reason for this mini-melting of hers....and to truly expect genuine affection for Ragi from her cuz of her 'sacche and nek' iraade as she was claiming, would be very very naive and underestimating the might of Vasundhara Rajvansh😉😆

I know! The creatives have created an amazing character who's not evil for no reason. She has her own reasons and justifications.

What I truly loved was that Vasu agreed to the wedding and that was a slap to Mamiji. I have been wanting to slap her (Vasu is far too beneath me for the slap), but am glad that Vasu did it for me!

I did not mind her bowed head today as much I did yesterday when Ranvir went over.

:D

My mouth was literally open when I heard her say that line...laying it on a little thick there, huh Vasu! There's no way she meant "Humari Ragini" from the goodness of her heart....anyways as long as Ragvir get married, we can battle the Evil Saas later...

Apux, I agree! I just want them married and some cute scenes and a nice suhaag raat scene since we missed out with Saalekh.

Vasu can be crazy later on. It's expected anyways.

@Rahm: Wow, you really hate Kaushi, huh?? lol.....I don't feel that way personally....even today I sympathized with her viewpoint when she was trying to explain it to Mamaji in that scene as well.....she definitely is a better person that Vasu is anyday.

@Apux: Exactly! Ek baar shaadi ho jaaye, we can battle the evil saas, the scheming nanad and the works! Bring 'em on! The Sharma sisters and the Rajvansh brothers will stand united! LOL.....or should I say the four Rajvansh's will stand united! hahaha

Anu, Kaushi has a better heart than Vasu and is a nicer person, but I don't think she's that much better than Vasu, to be honest.

She's a stubborn old woman who wants her way and refuses to see otherwise even when explained.

The reasons why I think this are:

Sadhana: after all the poor girl has done for their family, she's still a witch to her which is messed up. The poor girl purposely dropped a heavy vase on her foot to get out of going to Ragini and Puneet's wedding so that Ragini can get married without drama. Mamiji knows this. Sadhana married Aalekh to save their house. Mamiji knows this. After knowing all that she's done, how could she still be rude to her? She can never repay Sadhana for all she's done and Sadhana doesn't expect anything. She could still be nicer to Sadhana.

Ranvir: Ranvir ne kya kuch nahi kiya. The least she could do is be nice to him. He's not the one at fault here, but her stubborness gets the best of her.

Malti: When Malti was rude and schemeing against the family, Kaushi would bow her head and listen to Malti's crap and NOW that Malti is doing good and looking out for Ragini's best interests, Mamiji has a voice against her now? It's just stupid. Where was that voice when she was being rude to you and to your daughter? What happened to protecting Ragini then?

Even her schemeing mother understands that Ragini should marry Ranvir, but Kaushi? Nope. She thinks she's right and everyone is wrong. I love that Mamaji didn't forgive her, but told her to trust in God.

It's a stupid logic that people are going to compare Sadhana and Ragini and Ragini won't be happy. She won't be happy with Shishir. Mamiji knows that. Plus how does Mamiji know that people won't say crap to Ragini then? And again she brought up the Shishir marriage, itni beshaarm aurath kabhi dekhi nahin.

Rahm, I can see your points....however I still feel it is excessive to lump Mamiji in the same mould as Vasu.

Vasu literally tries to make manipulate the lives of all those around her to dance on her tunes....for the most part she has no remorse and will go to any extent.

Kaushi on the other hand, has valid reasons for her insecurities.

Granted that does not excuse her being so mean to Sadhna whenever the whim strikes her.....but the fact of the matter is...and Sadhna knows this very well too that underneath all the gruffness that Kaushi may show when she's having one of her bitter phases, she still truly loves Sadhna and cares for her.....I was watching an old epi just a few days ago, and the way Kaushi cared for Sadi during the time leading up to the Saalekh wedding and even afterwards when Mamaji wanted to kick Sadi out of the house.....that was amazing.

Vasu is a borderline psychotic.....Kaushi is just a woman who has seen the worse side of how cruel society can be and that has shaped her beliefs growing up.

She only brought up Shishir again cuz for all practical purposes, he is a nice guy and she feels that her daughter will be happy there.....she is not a woman who has 'fallen in love' herself before marriage...she LEARNT to love her own husband, that is just a generational difference....she feels it could be the same for Ragi...that she could 'learn to love her husband'

This thinking is obviously flawed given how it is obvious to everyone how much Ragvir love each other and have sacrificed for each other.

But that HARDLY makes Kaushi as mean as Vasu.....the day Kaushi BUYS out ppl to do her bidding, or sends gundas to spy after her enemies, THEN she'll graduate to the Vasundhara Rajvansh level of patheticness.

As for the reason why she's gruff to Ranvir....the way I see it, she's battling her emotions in her own way....she is not a stone who is unaffected by his suffering....but she thinks of it as her having to be stronger for her daughter's sake.

Anyways, this is all in the past now.....time for the wedding! Wooohoo!

Anu, Oh i'm not putting Kaushi in Vasu's level. If she was in Vasu's level, she wouldn't ask Mamaji for forgiveness.

I just don't think that she's that much better than Vasu. She is better, but not by much.

I know Kaushi does love Sadhana, but Sadhana is an orphan and all her life, she's craved a mother's love. She got the father's love from Mamaji and she's done so much for their family. Kaushi knows how much Sadhana yearns fro a mother's love. The least she could do is SHOW Sadhana how much she loves her. I don't mean go over the top, but the way she shows Ragini her love. She's bitter with Sadhana and I don't like it. Whatever happened with Ragvir, it wasn't Sadhana's fault. Granted she didn't tell Ragini the truth, but once Ragini found out the truth, she took the decision to unveil herself and show Ranvir who she was.

The Shishir thing is beshaarmi, I think. I know he's a great guy. We all do, BUT kitna kuch hogaya. He knows everything and he can tell how Ragini feels and to try to bring him back in the picture, it's as if she's lowering herself as well as her family. Shishir explained it so well. He told her to put things aside FOR Ragini's happiness.

She saw how broken up Ragini was. Regardless of whether she learned to love her husband or fell in love, you can't ignore the fact that Ragini told her that something inside her died when Ranvir rejected her and she doesn't have anything to live for. How can she then want to take away the reason her daughter feels she can live again?

Mamaji cares for Ragini too and he wouldn't make a decision if it was wrong. Mamiji isn't God that she predict what will happen. And as for Ranvir, he's proven that he'll be by Ragini's side and will protect her. She should trust that and moreso trust her daughter's choice.
