BV December 17th - Written Update

Bhairav is sitting, upset and deep in thought. Sumitra comes there to console him. Bhairav is upset about what Basanth said. He fears that such problems could lead to the family breaking-up. He fears that by supporting Gehna, they maybe causing even more trouble. As he is talking to Sumitra, Gehna comes there. Bhairav looks at her and then tells alound that for the good of the family, everyone should try to get along and stop causing such small misunderstandings. After he leaves, Gehna talks to Sumitra and apologises to her for suffering because of her. She also tells Sumitra to stop supporting her since this was not a good idea. Sumitra says that she has never stood up for herself and probably never will, so the least she can do is share Gehna's grief. Gehna says that all she needs to know is that Sumitra thinks about her and that was enough.

Gehna approaches Basanth. He yells at her for causing so many problems. Gehna says that in order to protect the family name, she will keep her mouth shut in front of others. In return she requests that Maasa should stop taunting and bad-mouthing her parents. After she leaves, Basanth thinks about this. He goes to Maasa and pacifies her to eat food. Maasa is happy that Basanth cares so much for her. They both talk about how much they mean to each other.

Anandi is going to her room. Jagya drags her into the dark kothiri where she was locked up. He suggests that Anandi should study there from now on as no one will think of looking for her there. Anandi says that she doesn't want to sit for the exams now since her sasuma had to endure so much because of her already. Jagya yells at her and tells her to forget all this nonsense and study. He says that Maasa needs someone to yell at everyday otherwise she can't eat or sleep (this was funny!)He reminds Anandi how much him, his parents and sister were helping her. Anandi finally agrees to study.
