Its 1AM and I need to wake up at 5AM -- I have my organic chemistry final exam tomorrow. 🤢 But I see a lot of begging to see some worthwhile topics --- so here it is. Again, its 1AM so if I'm not coherent --- I'm sorry.
A song has many components, ie -- the singer, the composer, the lyricist.
Out of these three main components, who do you think contributes the most to the song?
Now, yes, I know that all three are like man and woman --- one can't live without the other (yes, I am mocking the several gender-related topics in the section right now 😛). But is one's role a little more significant than the others?
Some thoughts to get the discussion started:
-With no singer, a composer just has a tune --- can a tune touch your heart?
-Without a singer or composer, a lyricist just has words --- are words enough?
-Because the music industry revolves so heavily around Bollywood, is their a limit on the genres that Bollywood music provides? If so --- how? And which ones?
I know the topic somehow managed to convey too many different ideas in one post, but that's just food for thought --- discuss whichever aspects you feel strongly about.
G'night!😃
