Ok the episode starts off from the ending of the salsa dance... Everyone gives them a standing ovation, even Samrat and Dia clap for them, but for a moment MayUr are too wrapped up in each other to notice whats going around them... Mayank looks pissed off, but Nupur looks happy and smiles... Anyways they let go of each other, and Nupur looks overjoyed and a little taken aback @ the attention, says thank you in general to everybody. Mayank walks off the stage in anger, but Nupur doesn't notice this... Meanwhile Samrat continues clapping and tells Dia he told her that Mayank would perform well, before Dia gets a chance to reply, Uday comes in the middle, starts clapping and goes on and on about how brilliant the performance was, but Dia gives one annoyed look and he shuts up and pretends that he was trying to beat a fly away 😆... Anyways Nupur looks over to them at the side of the stage, and all of them give her a reassuring smile. After this Nupur realizes Mayanks not there on the stage, looks kinda worried and also walks off to look for him where someone announces that its the turn of singers now (Already??? 😕😆)...
Cut to Gunjan, she's crying fiercely asking someone to open the door... Cut to backstage... Samrat follows Mayank and tells him that he's impressed by the performance... Mayank tells Samrats thanks but that he didn't watch Samrats performance, Samrat says "no problem, logon se sun lena" Nupur comes there, and Mayank sees her and walks away, Nupur calls him out trying to explain but just then Dia and Annie come in, with Dia telling Annie that she's worried because Gunjan had a problem singing during the auditions only, how would she manage to do so in front of such a large audience... Nupur overhears this and tells Dia to not worry as Gunjan will sing well.. Samrat also tells Dia that today Gunjan will definately not get scared and that everyone in the college would clap loudly after listening to her voice... Cut to Gunjan in the store-room, she climbs up a stool to look through the upper window to see if anyone's standing outside... But on noticing that nobody is present, she feels dismayed wondering what is she gonna do...
Cut to backstage, Nupur tells Dia that she'll go meet Gunjan and come back, Samrat tells her that he'll join her, as Gunjan needs some assurance and assistance with her nervousness and the tent... and realizing Dia is there, he stops in mid-sentence... Anyways he tells Nupur 'lets go' but Dia stops him saying that they should go to the stage if they want to meet Gunjan... Samrat wonders why... Dia tells him that she cares for him so much, that she set up the tent on the stage where Gunjan will be. Samrat thanks her and Dia says for you, anything ... and Nupur asks her if she can meet Gunjan, but Dia says that no she can't do that, its not possible, but she tells Samrat that why doesn't he join her to the stage to give Gunjan assurance???... Infact she has a great idea, he himself can announce Gunjans performance... That way, Gunjan will feel more self-confident. Samrat agrees to the idea, and before they leave, Nupur tells Samrat to wish Gunjan best of luck from her side. Anyways she silently prays for Gunjan to do well. 😊
Meanwhile on the stage, the teacher Miss Aha Chand announces to the audience that its time for the singing performances, and the first one is particularly important because their college's star Samrat has come by himself to introduce Gunjan's talent... She continues speaking that she's sure even if they haven't seen her face, they must have heard about her and would naturally be curious to see her performance, and with this she hands over the mike to Samrat.... By this time Nupur joins Annie and Uday @ the side of the stage to see Gunjans performance. Samrat on the other hand starts off his speech saying that many freshmans, and seniors have put in a lot of effort for today and that everyone has contributed in some way for this parade, but for some people today is an especially important day as they get the chance to show their talent and make themself known. And hearing this, everybody starts clapping along with Nupur... Then some member in the audience asks Samrat impatiently that does he have the intention to go on talking or will he let Gunjan sing also. In reply to this, Samrat tells the guy that he must be new to the college (audience laughs) because the full college knows that whatever Samrat says, he makes it happen... Everyone in the audience cheers... Meanwhile in the store-room Gunjan looks worried, hoping someone would unlock the door...
Meanwhile at the auditorium, some random audience member wonders why there is a tent on the stage... Samrat seeing this grabs the mike and tells the audience that they must be wondering why there is a tent on the stage... then he cracks a joke saying don't worry "main yahaan pe koi ghar nahi basane wala" (I'm not trying to build some house over here) He says the person who is about to sing, Gunjan is very shy so thats why they incorporated the tent so she wouldn't feel nervous. He continues on saying that anyways its the singing that is important, right??? Audience agrees... and Samrat says "so lets begin". Dia, giving Samrat some space, walks out from the stage to join Annie and Nupur in the sidelines, Nupur is on the sidelines silently praying, Uday walks off coz he wants to go to the bathroom. Anyways Samrat goes to the tent and thinking that Gunjan is in it, assures her that he's with her, and even Nupur is there to support her, and that to let go of her inhibitions and start singing... No voice is heard from the tent, Dia and Annie @ this look smug, and Nupur is greatly worried, meanwhile again in the storeroom Gunjan is banging the door asking if anyone is there...
Back to the stage, Samrat thinking Gunjan has gotten scared, reassures her again and tells her to sing... Noone sings... Audience is getting impatient, some random audience member says that "Agar taaliyan kam ho rahi hain to hum aur baja dete hain" Samrat tells the audience to relax, and whispers to Dia (who has come back to the stage) that he thinks Gunjan has become nervous, Dia nods knowingly.. Nupur on the other hand is extremely worried for Gunjan and wonders why Gunjan isn't saying anything... The audience start booing really loudly and on seeing this, now comes the ironic part, Samrat takes the mike and announces through the mike that he thinks there is a problem with the mike and to please be patient 😆. Again goes to reassure Gunjan through the tent but to no avail... Dia takes over the mike and tells the audience to relax as there is a technical problem... Anyways audience is getting increasingly impatient and are chattering among themselves... Dia whispers in Samrats ear that she told him that singing on the stage is not Gunjans forte, cut to shot of Nupur looking really worried... Anyways on seeing the impatience of the audience, Dia announces that they'll be back in two minutes and the curtain closes to the audience's booing... Meanwhile shot cuts to Gunjan who very sadly says to herself "Mujhe maaf kardo Samrat, I could not sing"...
Cut to Samrat, who quickly opens the tent to see Gunjans not there... Dia follows him in the tent and obviously on not seeing Gunjan there, pretends to be shocked an exclaims to Samrat that Gunjan isn't even here... Dia continues on saying "Oh sammy you helped Gunjan so much but still she let you down" She says she understands how he feels... Samrat tells her that he wonders where Gunjan has gone off too... Dia tells him thats obviously that coward had no guts to come to the stage and sing... And tells him to leave the topic of Gunjan and think how they'll manage the audience (Audience is booing loudly in the background).
Miss Aha Chand joins them in the tent and asks them where Gunjan is... Cut to Gunjan in the storeroom, she is wondering aloud to herself that what Samrat must be thinking about her right now, cut to tent, Miss Aha says that they'll discuss what happened and what didn't happen later on but for now they need to handle the audience, which Dia volunteers to do, Samrat interrupts her and says he'll do it, Dia starts to protest but he cuts her off saying that he'll handle the audience ...
So curtains rise, Dia, Samrat and Miss Aha come back to the stage... One random audience member asks Samrat where is the singing, another random audience member makes a sarcastic comments in regards to Gunjan that has the audience laughing... Meanwhile Uday has walked out of the auditorium and is in the corridor in a hurry to get to the bathroom... Gunjans sitting in the storeroom and crying but on hearing Uday from the corridor tells him to unlock her out... He unlocks her out, she thanks him and runs to the auditorium, and Uday goes to the bathroom...
Scene shifts to the stage, Samrat sadly tells the audience that he promised that he'll make Gunjan sing on the stage in front of everyone, but perhaps for the first time he'll have to break his promise and that he's sorry because Gunjan wont sing today... On hearing this, Dia looks smug... And Nupur looks shocked.. Meanwhile cut to shot of Gunjan running as fast as she can towards the auditorium, bangs into some people in the process, gives a quick apology for the mess and continues running towards the stage... Meanwhile on the stage, a random audience member says "But you PROMISED us" Samrat says yes he did but he's sorry he can't fulfil it, at this the audience start booing really loudly, and they go on booing... Gunjan reaches the sidelines of the stage (out of view from the audience) and watches whats going on... Samrat on seeing Gunjan standing on the side, takes the mike and says for her benefit that its his fault, he thought Gunjan will be able to overcome her fear of singing... He says that he wishes that could trust her, and that she could trust herself... Gunjan hears all this, look very anxious and gets a flashback of a scene where Samrat tells her "Apni guru par bharosa rakho" and gets another flashback of the advice he gave her right after he danced for BAH... Samrat says he's sorry guys and starts to leave when Gunjan starts singing yeh zindagi... Audience quiets down... Nupurs overjoyed, Dia looks pissed off
Samrat smiles with his face and isharofies to her to come to the stage... She walks slowly to the stage and continues to sing (You should watch this for yourself, I really am not able to do this justice), anyways Samrat takes the guitar and starts playing it and Gunjan sings to that tune... Gunjan and Samrat stand next to each other, Gunjan singing Samrat strumming the guitar staring @ each other intermittantly... She then sings another version of the MJHT title more confidently with a smile on her face, and the audience starts clapping to the beat of the music... Samrat smiles proudly @ Gunjan and continues to strum the guitar... Anyways performance ends and everyone starts clapping, but SaJan are staring at each other with the MJHT piano tune blaring in the background, Gunjan looking grateful and Samrat looking happy... Episode ends on them both staring at each other...
THE END finally...
PRECAP: Gunjan says to Samrat with a big smile on her face that she never thought that they would become friends, to which Samrat replies that now we both are equal partners and offers his hand for a handshake, she takes it holding a bouquet in another hand...
Cut to a scene between Mayank and his mom, Mayanks mom is asking him whether there have been any misunderstandings between him and Nupur... Mayank sarcastically replies back "Misunderstanding??? Excuse me Ma but iss project ke baare mein usse kuch nahin maloom hai" While saying this he grabs the file and flings it away in anger...
