Tabeer by Shafqat Amanat Ali

I got the album a few days ago. Even though I loved Fuzon's last album a lot i wasn't really expecting much from this one I don't know why, I thought maybe the songs will be over produced and commercialized. But I was pleasantly surprised

It is one of the best albums this year IMO. The songs are great.

My favorite song is Bulleh Shah. It is a cover of an old song, a female singer sang the version that i had heard. It is an old Punjabi song ..The words are so profound and lovely.. acoustic guitar at the start is very nice..

Khairheyan de naal is another great song!! Sad and lovely song at the same time..

Dum Ali Dum Ali is a remake of the dum mast qalandar song but it is different and sounds rly original

the rest of the songs are all top notch, meaningful, well sung and awesome.. oh we need more songs like these in movies...

highly recommended!! everyone go buy it/download it/whatever..just get ahold of this brilliant album

Shafqat has great songs to his credit ,he is one of the singers who has a good taste as far as selection of the songs is concerned + great quality of voice.
