Hi friends,

I was thinking about some events which could have changed the course of Mahabharat....

If Kunti had told everyone about Karna's reality ! Duryodhan wouldn't have a strong ally like Karna and he wouldn't have dared to think about defeating pandavas...

Krishna asking Draupadi to stop Karna from taking the aim during her swayamvar...If Karna had married Draupadi ? may be the course of history would have been different !

Draupadi insulting Duryodhan...

Lets discuss If therez some other event which you think might have changed the course of Mahabharati

Mahamuni Veda Vyasa was one of the greatest writers, just like Mahamuni Valmiki. Everything happened for a reason, and each incident in the great epic Mahabharata taught us an important ethic/moral. Even though tragic, I liked how the events in the Mahabharata played out.

But...when all is said and done, the one part in the Mahabharata if it did not happen, would change the whole story.

What if Shakuni had never stayed in Hastinapura, and never poisoned Duryodhana's mind? What if Duryodhana accepted the Pandavas with brotherly love and acknowledged Yudhisthira as the king? How things would have been different...interesting speculation.

But other than that, I like how the Mahabharata happened. It was tragic and beautifully written, each page giving us a valuable lesson. I would not want it changed.

i will chance the event

make kunti say publicly in competition court that Karna was his eldest son. all pandavas greeting him respectly and he would be the next king of Hastinapur...

Karna was very philanthropic person..if he was a king, there will be happiness, good life to everyone in hastinapur...

That would indeed change things. The Pandavas would respect and love Karna, and Karna would win Draupadi's hand, and might have been her only husband, because the Varanavata incident might not have happened.

But...the MB war still might have happened, because who says Duryodhan would have happily given Karna Hastinapura? He would not have been Karna's friend.

But Lalitha, If Karna sided with Pandavas, Duryodhan didn't have a strong ally..because he knew Bheeshma , Drona and Krip loved Pandavas so much that they would never kill the pandavas....

I think if Karna was the King of Hastinapur, Mahabharat war wouldn't have happened...Dhritrashtra was the king but he didn't have the power to make Duryodhan the yuvraaj..the decision was to be taken by the public and rajya sabha and Duryodhan was not as popular as Yudhistir was or Karna might have been...but may be destiny had found some other way...

I believe therez one more turning point...If Kunti and Krishna had not revealed to Karna his true identity, the other four pandavas were dead !i think so.. Karna had the capablity to capture Yudhistir alone and win the war on behalf of Duryodhan..

You could be right, but what I'm thinking is that how would Karna be the King of Hastinapura? I mean, the people favored Yudhisthira over Dhritarastra, but he didn't become King because Dhritarastra was basically ruled by Duryodhana. If Karna had been known as the eldest Pandava, how would things have been different? Duryodhana would have despised Karna like he despised Yudhisthira, because there was a chance Karna would gain the throne instead of him.

Also, along with Karna, Duryodhana highly treasured Bhishma and Drona as equally capable warriors, so if Karna was known as a Pandava, Duryodhana might have belittled his strength like he did the other Pandavas'. He might have said that with Bhishma and Drona on his side, who could face him?

Interesting thoughts though...

i still belive if karna get his rigth as pandaves & kunti annouce him as her oldest son , not only kunti ether if shri kishan tell karna & pandvas about each other relation or beeshmpetama also did this mahabharat war never take place there is many people mistake & fualit cost this mahabharat not only bad peopel but ether good character play big part in this mahbharat to take place , but karan & pandves get to know the ralation which all of them shir very late almost every things happen or about happen but, they can't stop it or changed it **************************************************************

as i know karna stop shiri kishan from teling pandaves about him been their elder bothers , as he know that if pandaves know they will give him everythings inculde the histanpure & make him the king of histenapur soo with his owth which pandet him with duryoudhana, he should give histanpure kingshiop to him as he can say no to his friend, soo if shir krishan tell pandaves after karna death that will keep histanpure under youdushirter leadership ********************************************************** ether in last time of his life karna tougth what is best of histanpure & his bothers ************************************************ no matter what other said or will say i think karn become winner with his death , his death was tragic but, he was the really winner in this MB & real hero of MB *********************************************************

karan was one of the bravest warriors and received one of the most noble death. he was really really a good person and doing favor for pandavas by saying to krishna " don't reveal the secret until his death" he rightly said that if he get the throne and he will give it to duryodhan and it will be an injustice to a throne. He knew Yudhishthir is the right person for hastinapur.....

Arjuna was a good warrior too but he never received the noble death karna received. when he was dying, krishna showed him his true form and gave moksha to him.

Interesting thoughts though...

it would be impossible to defeat pandavas if karna was on their side. Karna and Arjuna both were great archer + powerful bheema...these three warriors alone would beat the entire kauravas. Pitamah and Drona won't be able to stop them arjuna and Karna would be very powerful together and no one in the world could have stopped them......even Karna troubled arjuna in kurushetra war.....he also can defeat pitamah because both of them were Parshuram's disciple. both knew how to use Brahmaastra.
