Sonam's beauty is totally ignored by the British in London
She may only be one film old but that isn't stopping her father from making her known to the world. Who are we talking about… well Sonam Kapoor of course.
Recently Sonam was seen on the arms of her father Anil Kapoor at the London Film Festival where the latter was invited to promote the film Slumdog Millionaire in which he has a guest role. Says a source, "Anil was supposed to come with his wife but instead took his daughter Sonam. The reason behind this could have been to promote her to the outside world, outside of Bollywood."
But things didn't work out as Anil intended as the media present totally ignored both father and daughter. "None of the British press was interested in taking photos of Sonam or her father. To them they were unknowns and not news-worthy," said the source.
In Slumdog Millionaire Anil Kapoor plays the role of the anchor of game show Kaun Banega Crorepati, imitating the legends Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.
