'Mujhse Pyaar karti haina?' Milind asked, there was desperation in his voice that was unmistakable, 'Bol Prachi...Pyaar karti haina tu mujhse?' He asked again holding Prachi's face very close to his own, close enough that he could almost feel every changing expression of her face; if she were lying he would know. But he knew she wouldn't lie, he was sure of that, that despite this sham, underneath it all, under the mask of Panchi, there still beat Prachi's heart, 'Haan Milind, pyaar karti hoon' she replied, her tears falling thick and fast.
'Tu yeh baat akele main nahin...neeche aa kar sab ke samne bol...' Milind roared and looked down to see terror in Prachi's eyes, he had frightened her but he could no longer bear this; the secrecy. Five years he had waited but he no longer had the patience, he didn't understand this, he never could. 'Ke tu hi meri Prachi hain, meri patni, Prtachi Milind Mishra...bol de sabse' he almost pleaded with her, his own tears mingling with hers.
Prachi deliberated for a moment, but never once letting go of Milind, five long years has passed since he had held her like this and she wished that time would just stop and she and Milind could be like that forever. She had left him but each day, each passing minute was unbearable and yet she lived this wretched life and now Milind was here and things had changed. They could be a family again; how would she ever be able to let Milind go again, the first time had nearly broken both of them.
'Mujhe thoda waqt dijiye Milind... main aap ki hoon Milind lekin,' Prachi said softly, placing her head gently on his shoulder and Milind felt the anger bubble almost immediately out of him. 'Main Proteek se baat karoongi Milind...lekin ek pal mein main sab kuch kaise chodh ke chali jao...us bache ko kaise chod du, jo mujhe apni maa manta hain...kuch baatoon ko suljane ke liye waqt chahiye...apne apni zindagi ke paanch saal meri liye gawaa diya...mujhe pata nahin ke mera koi haq ban tha ke nahin ke main aap se yeh maang saku...'
'Bas...' Milind put a hand to her mouth and Prachi lifted her head to look up at him frightfully, 'Prachi...main tumhe duniyaan la ke de sakta hoon...lekin tum mujhse woh ek chees maang rahi ho, jo main dena nahin chahta...bardhast nahin hota Prachi...kaise rahoon durr, tumse...mere bete se...ek pal bhi nahin, ab ek lambha bhi nahin...'
'Bas kuch din Milind...phir se hum ek hoonge...'Prachi folded her hands to him and Milind forced himself to turn away but Prachi hooked her arms through his and pleased against his back, 'Please Milind...'

This way a similar track could have continued where the Das Guptas are still unaware and Michi maintain their secrecy but at least the reason for everything wouldn't be so illogical and there could still be hot scenes between Michi without this tug of war kinda thing between Milind and Prachi...(Main nahin aa sakti...tumhe aana hoga...etc etc) because Prachi is willing to go...time is what she needed and there never seems to be the right moment...
