Thank you so much for this great thread on Salil Choudhury. The information on these great musicians makes me realize what a void they have left in the Bollywood music industry. Thanks again to Indradhanush for posting all these great songs. I can't help but love listening to these beautiful songs. As far as i know wasn't he the music director of the movie Anand. Before he died he came to New Orleans, Louisiana and I went to the concert given by him, his wife, and his two daughters. I remember him singing kahin door jab din dhal jaye. I believe he had fallen down in the bathroom of my friend's house and was badly injured. Probably not too long after that he had passed away.
