In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Madhav checks in with Vidya, asking whether she has succeeded in securing the ring. Vidya admits that Kaveri is bound to discover sooner or later that the ring they have is not the original one. Madhav calmly lays out their limited choices — either they must somehow buy back the real ring before the jeweller sells it off, or they need to manipulate the situation and make everyone believe that the ring truly belongs to them and was stolen. He firmly states that regardless of the complications, the function scheduled for the day cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.

Tanya Grows Anxious as Krish Goes Incommunicado

Elsewhere, Tanya grows increasingly uneasy about Krish's whereabouts. Sensing her distress, Manoj questions her about what is bothering her. Tanya confides that Krish has not been responding to her repeated calls, which has left her anxious. Kajal intervenes and tells Tanya to stop overthinking, trying to calm her down. At the same time, Krish is shown meeting the goons and handing over a portion of the money. The men give him a strict deadline of two days to arrange the remaining amount.

Krish reassures them that he will manage the payment and insists that he has no intention of fleeing. One of the goons coldly warns him that running away is not an option, as their people are constantly monitoring his movements. This revelation leaves Krish visibly shaken and fearful.

Maira’s Arrival and a Tender Abhira–Armaan Moment

Back at the house, Maira brings betel leaves for everyone as preparations continue. Amid the bustle, Abhira and Armaan steal a quiet romantic moment together.

Their closeness does not go unnoticed, and Kaveri soon spots Abhira blushing. She questions Abhira about it, putting her on the spot. Abhira quickly covers up with an excuse and manages to mislead the Poddars. Soon after, Manisha urges Abhira to call Abhir and get the function started, warning that they will leave if there are further delays. However, panic sets in when Abhira, Kiara, and the others realise that Abhir is nowhere to be found. Kiara becomes restless and worried about his sudden disappearance.

Abhir Returns With a Surprise Guest From the Goenkas

Just when tension begins to rise, Abhir finally returns home. When Abhira questions him about where he had been, Abhir smiles and says he has brought a surprise for everyone. He introduces Surekha, explaining that she has come representing the Goenkas to attend his wedding with Kiara. Surekha warmly greets the Poddars and meets Abhira, Maira, Kiara, and Kaveri. With her arrival, Abhir announces that they should move ahead with the engagement rituals. As part of the celebrations, Abhira performs a dance, adding joy and energy to the occasion.

Meanwhile, Vidya notices Kaveri searching around and asks her what she is looking for. Kaveri explains that the auspicious plate meant for the ritual is missing. Vidya volunteers to bring it from the car and steps outside. At the same time, Krish is consumed by worry, desperately thinking about how he will arrange the remaining money demanded by the goons.

Vidya Discovers Krish’s Shocking Secret

While near the car, Vidya unexpectedly spots Krish. A sudden realisation strikes her, she connects the dots and understands that Krish is the one who stole the ring. She checks and matches his car number, and the truth hits her hard, leaving her stunned and shaken by the discovery.

Back inside, Abhir approaches Manisha with folded hands and bows before her, earnestly seeking her acceptance. He pleads with her to bless his relationship with Kiara and insists that her happiness depends on Manisha's approval. He asks her to take the ring and give her consent to the alliance. Abhira and Armaan also step in, requesting Manisha to place her trust in Abhir, at least once. After much hesitation and emotional turmoil, Manisha finally agrees and accepts the ring, signalling her approval.

Manisha Finally Accepts Abhir and Kiara’s Alliance

Abhira and Armaan feel a wave of relief as Manisha accepts Abhir and Kiara's relationship. However, Armaan's expression soon changes when he notices Krish nearby. His uneasiness does not escape Abhira's attention. When she asks him what is wrong, Armaan reveals that Krish has been selling off his properties and that he feels compelled to inform Kaveri about the truth. Abhira stops him immediately, reminding him that Kaveri's health is fragile and that she is not in a condition to handle such a shock right now.

Before the engagement ceremony begins, Abhira and Armaan lighten the mood by playing a fun game with Abhir and the rest of the family. Despite the cheerful atmosphere, Madhav and Vidya remain on edge, constantly fearing that Kaveri might recognise that the ring being used is a fake. Their worst fear edges closer to reality when Abhir and Kiara finally exchange rings. At that very moment, Abhira realises with alarm that the ring is indeed a duplicate.
