Is it Saif playing now?

Aamir Khan is no longer a part of Vishal Bharadwaj's 'Mr. Mehta & Mrs. Singh'. Vishal made the announcement some days back without providing any further details on the fact. There was also news in the air that Kareena Kapoor has backed out. However when asked Vishal rubbished the rumors and confirmed that she is doing the film. Vishal also reassures that the film has not been shelved as some sources said.

Vishal said "I am definitely making the project." But now the question arises who will be playing the male lead as Vishal is still undecided whom to opt for. Grapevine is buzz that Saif Ali Khan will be the one to play the lead. He will play the role that was supposed to be played by Aamir ones. When asked Vishal just said that the talks are at the initial stage now and the facts can be put out once things get confirmed. Only after the modalities, the actors name will be made known, he said.

Putting an end to another figment of imagination that Viveik Oberoi is no longer a part of Vishal's next 'Othello' he says, "I wish those indulging in speculation would at least clarify from the right sources. Ajay, Saif and Viveik are a part of the film, while Kareena Kapoor and Konkona Sen Sharma have also been confirmed for the film. The only thing remaining is to title the film."
