I agree with Arooj and Indra...

What happened to Champa is really sad, and I feel for girls like her, but she brought what happened to her upon herself. She left her house with a boy willingly, and got herself pregnant. Who's fault is that? She wasn't in such a bad situation that she had to run away. Her mother was only strict with her in the beginning because she kept meeting that boy. Champa was old enough to know she was doing the wrong thing.

I don't feel as sorry for her as I did with Gehna, or other characters who had bad things happen to them.

Yes, Champa's condition is indeed pitiable. She is so young, pregnant and is shunned by everyone. This serail beats all the shows I have seen thus far. It is clean and is a true depcition of the plight of young girls in rural Rajasthan.

The actors have done full justice to the gut wrenching scenes and kudos should go to the director and writers for a show that has more true emotional appeal then many to have come out on indian tv in a long long time.

Yep ur right....the actors have done astoundingly well......hats off to them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay , I know she shudnt have done all that , but nevertheless , I think it was pretty inhuman......human beings make mistakes , and she is just a teenager.....and in many ways , teens are more unstable and unsure that kids.....I am one , and all of you are either teens now or you were at a point of time.....I know , she shudnt have run away with that guy nor shud she have berated her mom....but nevertheless what I found so gut-wrenching was how her father forbid her mom from saying anything
