I love the album. 'Mannmohini', 'Tu Muskura' and 'Dil Ka Rishta' are my favourites. Can't stop listening to these songs😊

I have listened to manmohini only till now Arun and that sounded fine, but it was not out of world, his fav arpeggio, fav raaga (which you pointed out), may be the situation in the movie warrants a semiclassical number over synthetic and programmed rhythm. We will have to wait.

Let me listen to the other songs, actually ARR se umeed bahut rahti hai, this is the biggest problem.

Yes, Varsha Ji! It's him!😊

ID: It's a thematic soundtrack and I think the songs do justice in that regard. I am really enjoying 'Tu Muskura'...it has very good vocals by Alka and Javed Ali and some very good interludes as well. The whole album has beautiful use of the string section.

Even 'Dil Ka Rishta' has some excellent orchestration. The prelude, in particular, is brilliant.

Yeah i am so happy to see some of the previous SRGM singers getting chance to sing with ARR.
All 3 songs were fantastic and as you mentioned in your post abv.
I am going to check out complete album.
Thanks again 😊

i like "tu muskura" i like it more towards the second half when javed ali sings...i wish the female voice was that of shilpa rao...she has a very haunting, lounge voice which would have sounded amazing in this track with javed ali

VP is a damn good singer, Varsha ji! Too bad he hasn't got his due He has been in Rahman camp for some while now but even Rahman hasn't used him to his potential... until this song, that is. I am really glad that VP sung his song. Ilayaraja used him for a song as well in 'Cheeni Kum'.

He's also singing a lot in the South. Most recenty, he sung for V-S's debut Telugu venture.
