Yes you are right Kirti, ofcourse in hand of expert like you everything is easy 😊, but there are places like Sohini vs Puria dhaneshree a novice (like me can stumble).

Coming to BT: it is Komal Rishabh, Komal Gandhar, Komal Dhaivat, Komal Nishad, Shuddha Madhyam.
Bhairavi is : Rishabh, Gandhar, Dhaivat and Nishad are Komal. All other notes are Shuddha.
Indeed they are quite similar.

As nonBengali I hate this kind of neopotism. Pritam should remember that he makes his money and fame from nonBengalis, this kind of neoptism will back fire.
I hope non-Bengali music director have songs by Ash..
Please don't jump on me because I like Ash more than Anwensha. I find Ash's voice melodious and full of passion, somewhat like Sherya's. Where as Anwensha for me is very mechanical

Also the compteition is very very cut thraot..Even the supremely talented Shreya Ghoshal needed a Godfather (read Sanjay Leela Bhansali )to give her a break.......Not everyone has such luck.....Another extremely talented singer-Parthiv Gohil(Yoon Shabnami fame-Saawariya) had to wait for 10 long years before he got to sing in Hindi films ..The funny thing is that ppl heard abt him only after he sung this song which hardly did justice to his incredible talent.....A contestant as gifted as Mohd Vakil is hardly seen in the Hindi film scenario....Bela Shinde(again winner SRGMP ) waits almost 10 years again before rendering a song for A.R.R in Jodha Akbar......and then fades into oblivion even before we can who she is...coz this song was not promoted !!!!On the other hand we have a horribly off sur "bakhuda" and a positive ear sore "jhalak dikhlaja" topping the charts....Do we still need proof that real talent is not recognized/appreciated?As ReemaAnshuji rightly said"we do not dereve talent"...With the likes of HR and Atif being accepted and gaining credibilty as singers and repeatedly giving chartbusters.,real "singers" shld call it a day.....MD s openly declare that they sur machines to correct off sur notes......When even sur is not reqd for singing, then we def do not need trained singers here....Who wld ever spend time and money to learn music.....Better idea wld be to invest in a ur taal correcting machine and release an album(fast bucks😆😆😆)
I guess somehow we think that success means making it big in bollywood...most of the SRGM winners i hv mentioned above run their own troupes and sing/compose their own songs......They r making money but r not getting the fame "bollywood" singers get...But maybe they r actually getting more satisfaction this way...After all Sonu Nigam has also claimed that Bollywood songs do not give him satisfaction......So maybe the really talented lot shld stay out of bollywood for their own good and leave bollywood to the sur correcting machines and "naak mein dum"singers...😆.....and the few who r interested in gud music shld check out the albums /shows of the really gud singers....😃

😆 taal correcting machine and sur correcting machine OMG..! Some time back some one posted pic of his pet as participant in next auditions I am sure that should be posiible now.

Very well put indeed..! 👏In the Karzz episode I was also surprised to notice how besura Himesh is live, it was too sore on ear. This is pathetic Atif is promoted and his songs are recorded but there are so many worthy contestants who sing in sur taal they get break after waiting for years.

If she did indeed get a chance, she has not taken it.😕 The series that Vaishali won and the ongoing juniors series and the seniors series in between were all hosted by Pallavi Joshi.

Yaar April, I dont think this regional card holds good hear. It could be possible but I always believe that benefit of doubt should alsways be given. We dont know what is the bind the scenes thing, there could be so many possibilities - 1) There could be contract related issues with aishwarya winning 2) there could be availability issues 3) Maybe Kareena would have said that I want an established voice and hence Akriti while Anwesha sang for Amrita, who cant dictate anything at this stage in her career.
How can you say that he dropped he coz she was non bengali ? We can say something so grave only if we are sure.
As far as Debojit goes, well then firstly he is of his gharana and more than Bengali, i think Pritam sees himself in Debo with the stammer and the isolation issue. So I dont think he is doing that coz he is Bengali.
Lets give him the benefit of doubt.
