Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Meher tries to kill Vani, Abhira risks her life

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira confronts Armaan and asks him why he abruptly paused the video. Armaan counters her question by asking if she truly wants to watch Rajat allegedly forcing himself on Meher. Refusing to jump to conclusions, Abhira insists that they replay the clip completely, this time with the audio turned on.

As the video plays again, both of them realise that the sound is distorted and unclear. Despite this, Armaan firmly believes that the visuals alone clearly show Rajat crossing the line with Meher. Abhira, however, urges him not to form an opinion so hastily and insists that they analyse the video carefully before reaching any judgment.

Abhira and Armaan Clash Over the Truth

This disagreement soon escalates into a heated argument. Armaan lashes out, telling Abhira that she cannot possibly comprehend Meher's pain. Abhira responds by saying that she initially trusted the Mittals, too, but it was Anita herself who revealed certain truths to her. Armaan dismisses Anita's claims, accusing her of manipulating Abhira by taking advantage of her compassionate nature. Abhira questions why Anita would go to such lengths to lie and even entrust her with Vani's responsibility if she wasn't being honest. As tempers flare, Armaan maintains that the evidence is right in front of them, while Abhira accuses him of not trusting her judgment at all. She demands a promise from him that he will allow her to continue her investigation until the entire truth comes out.

Meanwhile, Mittal is seen looking for Vani, as he wishes to give her a gift. Soon after, Abhira and Armaan return home, where Mittal mentions his earlier visit and says he has something important to hand over to Armaan. Sensing tension, Abhira subtly steps in front of Armaan, which does not go unnoticed by Mittal. He then reveals a major development, Meher has signed the documents, giving him permission to reopen the case. Armaan is left stunned and looks at Abhira in disbelief.

Vani’s Illness and Maira’s Insecurity Put Abhira in a Dilemma

Mittal apologises for spoiling Maira's birthday celebrations and exits the conversation, prompting Abhira to walk away. He also expresses regret to Armaan for the discord the case has caused within his family. Armaan reassures him that he will take care of the situation and asks Mittal to give the gift to Vani instead.

Back at home, Abhira notices that Vani is not well. Vani asks her to sit beside her, seeking comfort. At the same time, Maira pretends to be unwell too, clearly craving Abhira's attention. Abhira finds herself caught between tending to Vani's genuine illness and Maira's emotional need. Maira confronts Abhira, accusing her of abandoning her during the Makar Sankranti festivities and questions what could possibly matter more than her.

Kaveri and Vidya Pressure Abhira to Step Back

Vidya and Kaveri watch the situation unfold and are visibly displeased seeing Abhira divided between the two children. Armaan is informed about Maira's stomachache and asks Abhira to stay back with her. Abhira tells him that Vani has a high fever. After a brief moment of thought, Armaan decides to remain with Maira and asks Abhira to look after Vani. Trying to balance both responsibilities, Abhira decides to prepare food for both girls herself.

Kaveri and Vidya soon confront Abhira and demand that she withdraw from the case altogether. Abhira stands her ground and refuses, stating that the truth has not yet fully surfaced. When questioned further, she defends her actions and requests their support in caring for both Vani and Maira. However, they refuse, fearing that Maira might feel ignored. Determined, Abhira declares that she will take complete responsibility for both children on her own.

A Bedtime Story Creates an Awkward Moment for Abhira and Armaan

Elsewhere, Tanya learns that Anshuman's company is looking for a new project leader, which leaves her worried about her brother's struggling business. At the same time, Krish is seen searching for a job, and Kajal accidentally overhears his conversation. Krish responds with sarcasm, telling Kajal to celebrate his hardships instead of sympathising.

Later that night, Armaan tries to help Maira fall asleep by telling her a story, but she flatly refuses. When Abhira steps in, Maira instantly agrees, leaving Armaan surprised. When he questions this, Abhira calmly remarks that she knows how to tell stories well. The moment creates an awkward silence between Armaan and Abhira, hinting at unresolved emotions between them.
