Chakshdeep Singh, a contestant on Splitsvilla, has faced a journey full of challenges and resilience. From a humble childhood to stepping into the reality show spotlight, his story is one of grit, determination, and unwavering focus.
Chakshdeep says, “I come from a very humble background. Until I was around 8 or 9, life was fairly stable, but in 2012 my father’s business suffered a huge loss, and everything changed. From that moment, our family struggled financially, and I learned the value of independence very early.”
He further adds, “I started earning when I was just 14 years old. I trained at a football academy where I received a small monthly allowance, which helped me manage my travel and basic expenses. I had to balance my football training, school, and later, coaching younger players. Those years taught me discipline, patience, and self-reliance. Growing up in such conditions shaped my mindset. Today, I am grateful for every opportunity and never take anything for granted. I know how hard work, consistency, and persistence pay off.”

He further states, “I’ve always been motivated by heroes and influencers. People around me treated me like a hero, which pushed me to try content creation. I followed creators like BB Ki Vines, CarryMinati, and my idol Diljit Dosanjh, learning how they carried themselves and connected with the audience. Reality shows like Roadies also inspired me seeing Prince Narula’s journey from childhood made me believe I could try this path too.”
How Splitsvilla came into his life was another story of persistence. He says, “I had auditioned for many shows, faced rejections, and even had my wildcard video shortlisted once but didn’t get a follow-up. Financially, things were very tight I earned 7,000 rupees a month, worked long hours, and travelled hours daily. Eventually, I invested in myself and started online personal training, which helped me grow my audience and income.”
He adds more, “When Splitsvilla auditions opened, I recorded my audition video at home. My brother supported me with his credit card to travel to Mumbai for the next round. The audition lasted over two hours, and after 20 days, I finally got the confirmation call that I was selected. That moment felt like years of struggle had finally paid off.”

Every journey has its share of hurdles. Chakshdeep quotes, “I sacrificed schooling to focus on football, travelled alone from age 13, and faced serious injuries like disc herniation, Financial pressure, and injuries came together at once, but I learned to face them head-on.”
He further expresses, “These struggles taught me humility, resilience, and patience. They keep me grounded and focused. I know how easily opportunities can be taken away, which makes me value every step of my journey.” “Even if an opportunity is lost tomorrow, I know I can rebuild myself. Life has taught me to stay confident, kind, and determined while navigating challenges,” he further adds.
He concludes saying, “Splitsvilla is not just a show for me; it’s a platform I’ve earned through hard work and perseverance. My focus now is to grow, stay real, inspire others, and take every opportunity seriously. This is only the beginning, and I am ready for whatever comes next.”
