| Hrithik, Bhansali to Come Together By MovieTalkies.com, 10 October 2008 |
| Sanjay Leela Bhansali is one perfectionist director but he may just meet his match in Hrithik Roshan. Yes, the two are slated to work together on Bhansali's next film, according to the buzz doing the rounds. It seems that Hrithik, who is currently working on his home production's film Kites, has given the go ahead to Bhansali, whose last film, Saawariya fared quite badly at the box office. Not much is known about the project which will see both these stalwarts of Hindi cinema come together for the first time. Both Bhansali and Hrithik have always expressed a desire to work together but somehow it has never materialized till now. Hrithik is known to be very choosy and finicky about his films and does very few films, quite like the other perfectionist in the industry, Aamir Khan. He is currently in Los Angeles shooting for Kites and is expected back next week. Speaking about Kites, the actor is believed to have turned all bronze for the film, which stars Barbara Mori and Kangna Ranaut. The film, directed by Anurag Basu, is apparently based on Woody Allen's Match Point, which was a tale about love and betrayal. The film is two third complete and the unit is now reaching Mumbai and will shoot the rest of the film here. The Roshans are looking at a release next year in August. There is a lot of speculation surrounding the project, and the price that it will reportedly be sold for its being quoted to be around Rs 120 crores, according to rumors. |
