Shakti Kapoor's son caught in rave raid

The narcotics department of Mumbai police raided the place after getting the information from their civilian informers in the party.

Around 230 revellers were arrested from the party that was at a popular discotheque. Also about 100 tablets of drugs like ecstasy, LSD, Charas among others have been seized.

Among those detained is actor Shakti Kapoor's son Siddhant, who was reportedly working as a disc jockey at the infamous hangout.

In an attempt to defend his son, Shakti said, "My family is a traditional one and I don't believe anyone will do something like this. My son is grown up to understand what is right and wrong. We are not tensed because it is up to him to learn his lessons. But I don't think he will be involved in any such things."

The police has said that those detained will be released after blood tests are conducted on them and further action will be taken against them thereafter.

Let's hope that Siddhant is not guilty, for daddy's sake.
