Well in my opinion Kareena is a good actress, so I don't see why she shouldn't receive praise. I'm not going to comment on her personally, since I don't know her. (although I wish lol) But I think the media have tried to demonize her in the past. But she seems nice :-)

I'll be really biased, but I'll still try to be objective. I think she's had her share of troubled times and rough waters in teh industry. It took her 8 years to get where she is today, and through this journey she's really grown as a competent actress. Her movies in the beginning where HORRIFIC to say the least. The same kinda roles, that repetitive overacting, but thankfully she came outta it post 2002 with Chameli.

She's given many brilliant performances in the past, including Asoka, Chameli, Dev, Yuva, Omkara and finally JWM. Until JWJ, sucess always alluded her, so I'm glad that she's finally getting her dues.
Yes, I know that her offscreen personality does rub a lotta ppl the wrong way. She's not diplomatic at all, and sometimes says things that she doesnt really mean or that are interpretted in teh wrong way, but she's really learned from her mistakes. But I still admire her for the actress that she is, and also because I know that she's still just a very honest individual who has her heart in the right place. Atleast that's the feel I get from following her interviews and personality closesly through various sourses and articles for the past 6 or so years.

I love kareena as an actress so I feel she very well deserves all the praise n admiration…Initially her acting wasn't tht impressive…but she has realy improved over the years and has grown as an actress..she was outstanding in Jab we met…it was one of her best performance…
