I think the reason that MEDIA is trying to compare Kat with ASh and trying to make Katrina the successor of ASh is just becasue of one reason and that is - Salman.

Media is finding some guilty pleasure in comapring Kat to ASh even when there is no comparision at all. But they think that Kat picked up from where Ash left and so Ka tis trying to go th esame way as Ash.

The shit touched the sky when they were all pro Kat and against Ash when KAt got the Nakhastra deal.

Its true media can make or break an actor and right now Katirna is thier barbie doll...and soon ther eis going tobe someone else.

^^ You make a valid point....media can make or break an actor. They have their favourites, until someone else comes along.For example, look at how they treated Rani. They were all praise for her at one point, and now they are writing her off (although I don't agree) As for Ash-Kat, maybe the Salman factor is a reason why the media constantly compare them. But I think that's ridiculous. Ash is happily married and Katrina is in a relationship with Salman. And as you mentioned, maybe that endorsement is also a factor- although it shouldn't really be one. Companies change faces for their campaign all the time, no big deal.

But I do hope that the media stop this monkey business. Why compre them and create this rivalry? Katrina is doing well for herself and is working hard, bless her. And as for Ash, she is a seasoned actress and doesn't need to prove anything.
