Recap: Lajjo sees Uday with Rads. LZ assures her that they are just good friends. Rekha tells Ranbir that Uday & Rads should get married. Ranbir doesn't agree but he starts noticing how happy and smiling Uday is always when he is with Rads.
Uday is on the terrace and Rads comes in a saree. Downstairs LJ is walking by the family room when Jags on purpose asks Ans about the whereabouts of Uday & Rads. Ans says that they are on the terrace, Jags adds to it that it's so romantic, we should go have a look. Ans refuses saying why ruin it for them – let them enjoy. LJ gets upset hearing this. On the terrace Uday questions Rads that how come she is wearing a saree. She doesn't reply and a song starts playing in the background, she starts dancing. (this goes on for 4-5mins.) It starts raining and she is still dancing around Uday, he is uncomfortable with all this, Rads comes close to him, puts her saree on his face covering them both. LJ sees them, and as usual starts crying AGAIN and leaves from there. Right after she leaves – Uday pulls himself away and in an upset tone asks Rads what is she doing? She says she is only what one person in love does with their lover – I love you Uday. He tells her to stop joking; she tells him that she's been in love with him since she was a child. He tells her to stop as she is just his good friend nothing more. She says cant two friends be lovers? She reminds him of her friend's problem that she asked him to help her on – I am telling you the truth I love you and I want an answer. He just looks at her and walks away without saying a word. She is standing by herself and talks to herself that today you haven't given me an answer but I know you will definitely give me an answer and I know it's going to be yes.
Downstairs – Abhay goes to the kitchen and asks Nandu for coffee, Leeza is also in the kitchen. Nandu is about to make it Leeza says that she'll make it for him, as you know the family members does not let me talk to Abhay – but let me make coffee for him. She takes the coffee to his room – he is upset upon seeing her and calls out for Nandu. She tells him you like the way I make your coffee so I did that and thought I'd bring it myself and gives him the cup. He takes it and drops it on the floor and tells her to get out. She leaves crying out of his room.
LJ is in her room thinking about Uday & Rads together & as usual crying. LZ comes in saying she had promised her that she won't cry, has someone said something to her? LJ looks at her crying, hugs her and tells her that there is no hope for her; Uday is in love with Rads. LZ tells her that she is wrong – she must go talk to Uday and if you cant then I'll go talk on your behalf. LJ tells her not to talk to Uday. LZ agrees but insists that she must talk to Uday; LJ agrees to talk to him.
Out in the family room – the entire family gathered – when Uday is coming down the terrace. Ranbir calls him down – questions him why he is all wet. Before he could answer Rads comes and calls out for him and she is also wet from the rain. Ranbir tells Uday that he needs to discuss something with him – He says that Rads is a nice girl and they both look good together, all I want to know is if you like Rads or not. LJ & LZ are standing on the side listening and everyone is waiting for Uday to respond. After few moments he does say that he likes her. Jags gets up saying that if the guy/girl is ready then what can anyone else do. LJ hears this and we see more crying (I am sick of seeing her crying all the time) and both of them walk away from there.
Rekha tells Ranbir now that you've gotten Uday's answer – just then Uday interrupts saying everyone is mistaken, I only like Rads only as a friend. Ranbir's wife says that a friend can also be wife so why are you denying it. He says he has never thought of marrying Rads, she is my friend and will always remain my friend. Abhay says that all of us has noticed how happy you are with Rads. Uday agrees but that's coz only I found someone to share my pain with. One thing is for sure that I will not marry again. Rekha tells him not to think emotionally but practically – if you think just 'coz Ranbir had asked you to marry Lajjo, it doesn't mean that she is your responsibility for life. It is the matter of your life. Jags adds by saying that even she feels that Uday is saying no 'coz of Ranbir. If someone goes thru one bad experience doesn't mean that a person should stop living.
Ranbir says that he's made one mistake but now we all want you to get married to Rads so please agree. I'll talk to Lajjo. Uday starts to think.
Pre-cap: LZ asks LJ to promise her not to go anywhere in the next 24hrs. LJ says to LZ that she won't stop her from leaving if something didn't happen in the next 24hrs.
