!! 'Cheeni Kum' couple Amitabh-Tabu romance once again !!
With son Abhishek exhibiting a slight change in priorities, romancing his uber-hot partner John Abraham in 'Dostana' and ignoring Bollywood beauties, Big daddy Amitabh has taken up the responsibility to keep the Bollywood damsels busy as he is geared up to set the sparks flying with his 'Cheeni Kum' love interest Tabu.
The oddball 'jodi' that raised quiet a few eyebrows in their first flick 'Cheeni Kum' will be seen once again in Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi's untitled film based set against the Buddhist period.
According to our sources, Amitabh and Tabu will essay the role of a married couple. And Tabu will be playing the role of Tishyarakshita, the fifth wife of Ashoka The Great. Her role has certain dark shades as she plays a conspiring mother who is ready to go to any extent to do good for her son.
What's interesting is that Tabu was not the first choice for playing Big B's wife. The role was initially offered to Sushmita Sen, who had even confirmed to be a part of the project. But Sush busy with her own directorial venture based on another historical subject 'Rani Laxmibai', decided to opt out of the project.
However, when Dwivedi saw 'Chenni Kum' he immediately called up Tabu to essay the much-coveted role.
