30th September 08 Written Update

• Ganga and Rahul are on the phone! Rahul says that he thinks Shubdoh maybe in trouble! Ganga is shcoked! Rahul then wonders why Shubodh said nothing even though they are good mates, he asks Ganga if she knew anything! Ganga replies that she knew nothing and that she is distressed hearing this! Rahul says that he is also distressed and especially after seeing Shubodh, he looked like he was really worried! Ganga says not to worry she will talk to Shubodh! Rahul says okay and they hang up! Ganga looks owrried and confused! Puttan comes to remind Ganga about the file, and that its important and shouldnt be forgotton! Ganga says he done right she read it but didnt sign it, she will do it know! Ganga leaves the table, Puttan has a smug face!
• Shubodh is on the phone in his room! He says to a lawyer that the matter has got worse, and that the police can arrest him at any time! Ganga is walking by and hears this, she is shcoked! Shubodh continues to say that if Shanta finds out then the she may get stressed out! Ganga continues to listen from the door and looks worried! Shubodh continues to say to the laywer that something has to be done, and that the courier has arrived with the papers that wer singed, he will bring it to him immediately! He tells the laywer to keep the other papers ready! Ganga is shcoked hearing this! Shubodh hangs up, Ganga hides behind the wall, shubodh picks up a file from the bed and walks out! Ganga is left thinking as to what problem is Shubodh trapped in and she needs to tlak to him! She looks worried!!
• Shubdoh coems outside the house and is walking flicking through the file! He looks up and sees two men, he looks confused! The two men walk up to Shubodh and ask if Shubodh lives here! Shubodh says that its him, whats up? The man looks back and two men come on either side of Shubodh! The man says that he is an inspector and that he is arresting Shubodh for counterfeit and fraud! Shubodh is shcoked! Ganga is also hearing this from some stairs and is shcoked! The inspector says to Shubodh that he is under arrest! Both Shubodh and Ganga are both in shock! Ganga is standing behind Shubodh on some staris, when one of the men beside Shubdoh takes the file out of his hand and the other handcuffs him! The inspector says to take him, and they start to walk! Ganga shouts out Shubodh bhaiya from the back! Shubodh stops, while Ganga runs up to him! She asks Shubodh what all this iis, She says to the inspector that he has doen nothing she knows him well! GAnga tells Shubodh to say that he has done nothing, when Shubodh just looks down! The inspector says that they have evidence and if she wants to tlak to him, do it at the police station! They start to take Shubodh, Ganga says to listen to her! She looks quite shaken! They go round to the police jeep, and Shubodh sits in! Ganga comes running, and says to one of the men to listen to her! She then runs to Shubodh and tells him to say that he has done nothing, Shubodh just puts his hand on hers, while the jeep drives off! Ganga is left standing, looking owrried! She thinks what to do as Saagar isnt even her, she tries to ring Saagar, he doesnt pick up , she tires again and he still doesnt pick up! She starts to panic, she then rings Rahul and tells him to meet her at the police station!

• Ganga walks into the police station and asks to see Shubodh who has just been brought in! The police officer says to Ganga to go and speak to the inspector he will tell her what to do! she runs to the desk, she tells the inspector that Shubodh was just brought in she wants to see him! He asks who she is, she says shes like a sister! She asks about bail, but the inspector says that his bail cannot been done here, as he has the accusation of handling large amounts of sum under the company name! Ganga says that there must be some misunderstanding, she knows Shubodh and he cannot do anything wrong! The inspector says that he has been arrested with suspicion! Ganga says that she didnt mean that, but can she get the bail! The inspector says that he already said that bail can not be issued! Ganga is shcoked! The inspector says that the case was filed in Lucknow, so the bail can only be issued from there! Ganga says to help her! The inspector says that he cannot help her, and continues to do his job! Ganga is left standing, looking owrried!
• Ganga is talking to Shubodh in the prison cell!

Ganga: Look Bhaiya, dont worry everything will be okay! But i am hurt by one thing Bhaiya, I ... I Couldnt think that you ... you will make me so distant from you! all this happened and u didnt tell me anything! You told noone nothing! YOu didnt even let us know Bhaiya! Why Bhaiya, why?

Shubodh: Jhanvi, this problem came into my life! and i didnt want the black shadow of the problem cast over your happiness! I didnt want to trouble nayone with the problem!

Ganga: It wasnt trouble! But you have given pain! You have made it seem like you dont consider us your own! But it isnt like that Bhaiya, we are a family! Thats why our sorrow-happiness, emotions, every feeling is linked with one another! But ... But you dont think this!

Shubodh: No Jhanvi, you are my own! My very own! That's why i wanted to save you form this grief! But dont worry, i am trying to find a solution to this problem! And i have all faith that i will find a solution really son!

Ganga: But Bhaiya, tell me one thing, how did all this happen? How did such a big accusation fall on you?

• Kaveri is in her room, pacing up and done! She looks worried and has slightly teary eyes!

Kaveri: (to herself!) Saagar, how can you go suddenly, without saying anything! You could have told me soemthing! Something! (She has flashbacks of the ripped painting, that Saagar torn up!)

• Rahul comes to the police station! he asks the officer where Shubodh is! The officer points to a direction!
• Rahul is at the cell with Ganga and Shubodh! he speaks to Shubodh with anger and disappointment!

Rahul: What did you think? That you will bare this alone, and we wont find out? or did you think that us seeing you in this state, wont make a difference? huh?

• Kaveri is in her room still looking through some files! But still finds nothing! she seems annoyed! She sees a picture of her and Saagar on the table! She looks at it, then she picks it up!

Kaveri: Saagar, how can u go like this leaving me alone? without saying anything, without telling anything! How Saagar? How? (She slowly puts the picture back on the table!)

• Rahul is at the police station, sitting with the inspector, on the phone! He is on the phoen to someone asking for a favour, he says that the case isnt that serious, and he is giveing his personal guarantee! He then gives the phone to the insepctor, who speaks to the person! The inspesctor says okay! He hangs up and says to Rahul that he should have told him before! He then calls another officer tells him to get Shubodh out! another lawyer sitting with Shubodh gives a document to the insepctor, saying that this is the bail document! Ganga and Shubodh then come! The inspector congratulates Shubodh on receiving bail! Shubodh looks at Rahul, and then they hug! Ganga smiles! The inspector then tells Shubodh not to leave the country! Rahul says not to worry as he has given the surety! They leave!
• Kaveri is in her room, she opens Saagar's wardrobe and looks at his shirts! She thinks: I am ur wife Saagar, your other-half! I am the half partner in everything that is linked to you! Even then you left me without telling me! Why Saagar? (she has tears in her eyes!) She starts to search the wardrobe, by looking through his shirts, and the shelf below! She sees a book, between some clothes! She takes it out and looks at it! She starts to flick through it!

Kaveri: What is all this? I have never seen all this before! Poems, Songs! Sayings! (she then sees a postcard of a sunset, with writing on the fornt and back, she starts to read it!) When the sun sets, the nature looks even more beautiful! (Wondering!) What is this place? (she turns the postcard over and starts to read!) My lovely Ganga ... (She is shocked!) We promise each other that on the 21st September we will meet at this palce in Kundanpur, in the evening at this time! and we will spend time together! Saagar! (She is shcoked!) 21st September? (She looks at the calender!) And today is 20th September! Meaning? Has Saagar gone to Kundanpur to fulfil his promise? (She is shcoked at looks worried!)
