Don't know whether he'll be back or not. But one thing is for sure that TRPs will be down. They may get somebody eles in his place (as mentioned in SBS about a new entry). They'll try to make that character as loveable as possible and if it clicks then HC doesn't need to come, right and if it doesn't then may be they'll consider (this is my opinion) not necessary though. Why go through all this drama just kill both of them and finish off the serial. Simple. Everybody can move on. But Star and Balaji will definitely wait and watch the reaction to HC's exit on TRPs. So all that the fans in India (overseas fan don't matter in TRP counting) can do apart from the petitions is just stop watching the series on TV.
