Suddenly I am struck by a new theory now that they are implying Milind is a pauper. What if they show that Prachi realising that he has reached this condition because of her but in her usual strange reasoning concludes it is because he loves her madly and therefore to get him back as the old shrewd businessman Milind, she should act in a way that would make him hate her ? She may then decide that she is really married to Proteek and Milind getting disgusted with her decides to fight for his son. Only since he would not have the money to do so, he would return to the highly driven Milind of yesteryears where he goes back to amassing wealth. Once he is back to being the businessman, he then indulges in a custody battle for his son. Prachi does not want to lose her son. So she ends up admiting that she is not really Proteek's wife. Milind may then accept her for the sake of his son. As he himself did not have the love of a mother he may not want to deprive his son of it but he will not accept Prachi as his wife. Then comes the long road of repentance and finally Sumu baba unites his parents.
