It was nice to read your discussions from Shakespeare to Mani Ratnam. Opti Akka, Mauna Raagam is remade in many different languages. I have watched it in Tamil, Kannada and Hindi.

By the way, have you guys watched Basu Bhattacharya's movies? Anubhav. Avishkar, Grihapravesh to name a few. Do watch them if you get a chance. The director has explored the intricates of man-woman relationship brilliantly.

Macbeth is my favourite of Shakespeare's works. It had haunted me just like lady Macbeth was haunted with guilt after the murder.😆

its not that JC, its just that these people who depict love as a weakness dont actually know wat the feeling is all abt. it doesnt make u weak, it makes u strong...strong enuf to take on the world and still hav hope to succeed.
i think till now the best BEST depiction of love has been seen in judith mcnaught's novels. her portrayal of love and men is extraordinary. the love is shown to b strong inspite of misunderstandings and her men are assertive, strong willed, dynamic and sexy beyond belief ---- wich is one of the main reason m attracted to shabbir. he's lik a live depiction of one of judith's characters
