Aamir Khan will play the role of Ryan in "Three Idiots" The first look of the Rajkumar Hirani's film "3 Idiots" has been released. The film is based on the Chetan Bhagat's novel "Five Point Someone." The lead actors in the film are Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi, Madhavan, Kareena Kapoor and Boman Irani. The poster doesn't show the face of any of the movie characters. It's just a classroom kind of arrangement because the story of the film is about three students in an engineering college.
The looks of the main character of the film will soon be released by Hirani and the shooting of the film is in progress. The music of the film will be composed by Shantanu Moitra and the lyrics will be by Swanand Kirkire. The film poster was initially shown to the writer Chetan Bhagat who was happy to see the classroom picture.
The novel "Five Point Someone" is about what not to do in IIT and it captures the campus life and the problems faced by three mechanical engineering students studying in the college in the years 1991 to 1995.The tough schedules and the grading system followed in the college has been criticized by the novelist. The three main characters Hari, Ryan and Alok are called five pointers because they get points 5 or low when they are graded.
The first character introduced in the novel is Hari – who is shy and wants to be handsome like Ryan. Hari is average and is bad at vivas. He falls in love with his professor's daughter. Whenever Hari tries to impress his professor, he falls in the eyes of his professor.
The second student is Ryan. He is handsome and adventurous and he always says that he loves his friends more than his parents and doesn't want to mug things up but always ends up getting low grades in the college exams .He wants to do things in his own way and when he tries to do things his own way, he too ends up as a five pointer. The third is Alok. A simple boy who wants to get good grades and earn money to overcome poverty in his family.
The female in the novel is Neha Cherian who is the daughter of the professor. The professor doesn't want her to talk to boys. She is close to her brother Sameer who commits suicide when he fails to clear the entrance test at IIT.
