Hello
Cooroy Botanical Gardens By Didi Max
I recently visited a small town called Cooroy just 43km south of Gympie in Queensland. The highlight of my visit to this quiet little village-like town was my time spent at their beautiful Botanical Gardens.
The Gardens are just 3km out of the town on the banks of Lake McKenzie. What a beautiful variety of plants, and in the most picturesque setting looking over the lake.
There is an ornate amphitheatre that one can only marvel at. The garden paths meander up the gentle slopes over trickling streams and through lush rainforest areas.
Even for the non-gardener this area is a delight in taking us back to nature. You could drive past these gardens and not even realise the beauty that lies within.
I highly recommend stopping in here, bring your morning tea and enjoy the amply provided picnic tables and escape into the Garden of Eden
