Lakshagattle bantu, Haage Summane
Sandalwood seems to be going the B-Town way with movie rights being sold even before the film has released.
But debutant director Pritam Gubbi's Haage Summane has gone a step ahead, and the rights have been bought even while the film is still in post production. "We've sold it to Telugu producer Kanth Rao for Rs 20 lakh. It's very rare in the Kannada industry for a film that has a completely new cast to be bought even before it has released," Pritam informs us.
Haage Summane stars newbies Kiran and Suhasi and has been shot at various locations in Karnataka, including Kodachadri, Honnavar beach, the backwaters of Kabini, Om beach in Gokarna, Panambur beach in Mangalore and Thirthahalli.
And keeping the Mungaru Male spirit going — Pritam was the screenplay and story writer for Mungaru Male — Pooja Gandhi will be making a minute-long guest appearance, while Mano Murthy and Jayant Kaikini have worked on the music.
