Salloni's comment on 'baanjh aurat'

In today's episode Saloni has been shown agreeing with LAALI maasi and telling Nahar laali maasis nonsense perhaps is right as from ages ' baanjh aurat ' has been avoided etc. Now i really request Sp creatives to stop showing Saloni making such uneducated , hurtful dialogues . What will the women who dont have children and r having fertility treatments feel when they see the lead heroine agreeing to such hurtful rubbish please ? Even kakasa told Tara she was wrong . I repeat .....its not just people like laali maasi who r wrong but people like Saloni who give them blatant encouragement . Kalikas sister or no sister , Laali Maasi shud have been thrown out of the house . Apologising on Nahars behalf was Nahars insult and every woman's insult . The Saat phere r with Nahar , not Tara .

And please Saloni dont agree even in dreams about Baanjh aurats and all . The very word is a blasphemy .

If this continues , saloni will go away from viewers hearts and Sp creatives will have tough time trying to clear the mess . She is behaving worse than tara by agreeing to illiterate nonsense .....from tara we have no expectation......from saloni we have !

I agree with your comments. This story doesn't belong to this century. Calling childless females..."baanjh".😡 I mean, come on wake up...they are giving the wrong message to the people and they are definitely nurturing insecurities amongst women who find it difficult to conceive.

The word "mother" is such a beautiful word, that one doesn't have to physically give birth to a child to be called that...motherhood is so much more than the physical process...there are lot of qualities associated with being a mother that trying to limit it just to the physical process is disgraceful. Mother Teresa being a prime example, of a selfless, loving mother in the most positive sense.

And in this serial itself, jiji is a mother who physically gave birth, but was not there for her kids either from her first husband or for Advitya...for her having a child was a means to an end...a very selfish attitude to the very end..and she was infertile...not physically but in every other sense....

One hears and reads of so many stories about females giving birth and abandoning their babies...now, they are a disgrace to motherhood and then there are people who bring up these abandoned kids and give them love, security, a life who are much better examples of motherhood.

I am really upset by the current track that my heart bleeds for the ignorance and backward thinking of the so-called "creatives" of SP. i am afraid that they are giving the wrong impression to hundreds of non-educated women in the rural regions of India...who probably have access to TV and are watching trash such as these.. These are people who are influenced by TV shows, people who may not be able to laugh it off as "trash" as we do!

SP is doing more harm than good and I fervently hope that they wake up and correct their ways.

Well said friends.... One of my friends is unable to conceive becos of some gynea.problems.... Eventhough she and her husband are highly educated...her inlaws r treating her very badly, even they r trying to convince their son to divorce her.... I was shocked when I heard this... I can't stand this track. These writers should show something positive.. Saloni should come forward strongly and kick this woman out. We should definitely respect our elders but we should not follow them when they r doing some wrong..
