Unjustified exaggeration

Agreed, Kayamath is fiction.

So I shouldn't be complaining about larger than life characters and exaggerations.
But if you look carefully, things are selectively exaggerated.

Michi misunderstandings carried on for months. Milind was shown blowing the roof off for weeks making Prachi cry buckets for no fault of hers. Prachi suffered with Milind's PA for several months.
When they exaggerate Prachi's problems, why they don't exaggerate Prachi's happiness too?

Prachi's happiness when finally Milind started a married life with her was so short lived. Even her joy of remarriage to Milind after months of tears has been badly hit by the current track.

On the other hand, Ayesha enjoyed her engagement with Milind and his PA courtesy for months. Ayesha was also forgiven so easily by everyone. Though she got killed recently, the whole track was not dragged for months. Now Mallika has been enjoying her evil plans already for a month or so.

I detest this injustice, where only Prachi's sorrow gets exaggerated where as her joys are so temporary. But the vamps live their dreams for so long before they face a quick punishment.

I agree, certain things in this show are selectively exaggerated, the vamps (Ayesha, Mallika) benefit while Prachi has limited time of happiness. Sad but true.

You are right. I am not gonna dare watch another serial. I also hope Shabbir doesn't do more TV but rather does good films.

Yasmin, how do BT serials end? Is it like the victory of Good over Evil or is it always tragic for the heroine?

I agree. What to say...they have to do something to stretch the serial to run for years. If they keep everything goody goody between the main leads then what is left to show. Thats the bitter truth. 😳

It doesn't need to be a hell everytime right.. Why it has to be a life and death situation everytime?
Why can't they do with something lesser than that. I bet there are other interesting plots to show us.
