The finale begins…

Heartbeats will race faster and temperatures shall soar this month as Nach Baliye, 'Ek Anokhi Jung' on Star One unveils the battle between the final four couple contestants performing on 'Apni Choice Ka Gaana' tonight at 9 pm. Adding a zing, the four couples perform to the dance themes of sexy and sensuous, comedy, retro and remix, wedding and folk-regional dances.
With the competition reaching its last two rounds, the contesting couples are anxious with the undercurrent of tension as the scope of survival in this contest does not merely lie with the judges' verdict. It is also the view of the audiences that will decide the fate of these couples to keep themselves alive and kicking in this competition. A fine instance of this is the elimination of Archana and Parmeet Sethi, one of the most popular couples on Nach Baliye. This jodi who had been getting high scores consistently from the judges, surprisingly failed to impress the viewers. Whereas, Jodi no. 8, Rajiv and Delnaaz, who were often shown in the 'Danger Zone', managed to survive yet another time with apt support of sufficient votes from the viewers!
While Sachin and Supriya clearly stand as the 'cutest couple' on the show, also enjoying a voluminous score of audience votes every week, the hot favourite and talented jodi of Varun and Rajeshwari can certainly not go unnoticed. The competitive spirit to emerge as a winner, the hunger to garner maximum viewers' votes and the desire to display their best performance to woo audiences and the judges is only too evident as these couples dance their way to stay on the top.
Tonight, as one couple gets eliminated from the contest, the countdown for the 'Top 3' favourite jodis will unfold. Will Rajiv and Delnaaz make it to the 'Suraksha Chakra' for the fifth consecutive week by getting high audience votes, or will Manish and Poonam beat them in the race this time? Will Sachin and Supriya's on-stage chemistry sizzle the audience with Ishq hai suhaana for top scores once again, or will Varun and Rajeshwari's electrifying performance get them on top of the charts?
This week's episode with 'Apni Choice Ka Gaana' as the theme promises to be full of masti and dhamaal. There's more attraction in the offing tonight as the Nach Baliye music album will be launched by the panel of judges, Malaika Arora Khan, veteran choreographer Saroj Khan and director Farhan Akhtar. The album is a compilation of yesteryear hit songs like Aa dekhen zara from the movie Rocky, Laila o laila from Qurbani, Mehbooba mehbooba from Sholay, all of these remixed by DJ Aqeel and the popular and peppy Nach Baliye title track by Ashu and Dhruv.
