I think the character building of Waaris is unbelievably Superb so far and they shud not mess it up by introducing any crude negativity in inter personal relations between the family .
Shankar is the one with the temper , and intense loyalty to his father whom he looks upto .
Shaurya is the one with a calm temperament but a remarkable tenacity never to lose focus of his goal and goes straight to the root of the problem bothering him .....a quality that will help him to become a succesful don if the serial goes the godfather way .
Rudra , inspite of being a don , has that keen sense of justice in interpersonal relationships and business relationships both .
The thread of love binding the three is so strong that neither Gayatri nor Simran will ever be able to break it . Gayatri will have no option but to resign herself and Simran will back off when Shaurya stays put to protect his family . Women....be it the mom , or Gayatri and Simran , cannot do a thing about the blood bond.
Shankar 's yelling at Gayatri in first episode isnt chauvinistic . It is more out of his intense family loyalty .....and an absolute unwillingness to listen to an outsider's perception of his dad or brother . Infact , hunk though he is , temperamental though he is , Shankar is not chauvinistic at all . He is a bholu who tries to understand women by trying to make a clumsy effort to understand the complicated emotions of his very pregnant wife , and goes straight to the heart of women viewers . They shud not go and spoil it by showing this changes even if they make Gayatri lose the baby . If they show Shankar turning negative with babys death , they will spoil it .
Shankar doesnt Resent Shaurya's special status in the house . He loves Rudra and Shaurya both equally fiercely . There isnt an iota of jealousy in Shankar .
Shaurya drops everything .....years of his high education , association with Simran , everything when he has to step in to save his family . In this respect , he and Shankar r same ......no diffrence .
The three men r absolutely softies with the younger daughter ......their weak point . Shankar's protective attitude towards his sister and Shaurya's understanding of her endear them to viewers . Shankar is helpless in his efforts to placate Gayatri as a woman but knows how to placate his doll of a sister . The sister is a big bond between the three besides the blood bond .
Shaurya loves his elder bro totally .
The best part of Waaris is this unconditional love . Now they shudnt mess it by introducing jealousy in the drama ......the story shud be more about how this love doesnt break , whattttever adverse circumstance . Wherever they r , and whatever calamity befalls them the Waaris men come thru .....shud be the story always . At least this is wat i feel .😊

Love your analysis of the 3 men, and yeah the characters are really good, even though Kanika is negative in the family - she has a valid and logical reason to be against the RPS family since her dad was killed and she still doesn't know why :(
I also love how there's so much bonding in the family and how everyone needs the other!

thanks guys . Yea , Kanika is obviously gonna play a bigg role in selling off info to Ganesh Shetty . But Kanika isnt immediate family .....
The bond between the immediate family shud be unbreakable always .
