Born in the family crammed with celebrities, Saif Ali Khan, also popularly known as the Chhote Nawab of Bollywood, began his career with multistarrer PARAMPARA way back in 1992. After that he starred in numerous worthwhile projects but more or less his acting career went through a relative slump.

Throughout 90's his career stood unimpressive and sluggish except a few flicks like MAIN KHILADI TU ANARI, YEH DILLAGI which really did well. But it was in 2001 when he gained enough acclaims & rose into prominence with his performance in Farhan Akhtar's DIL CHAHTA HAI and went on to prove his mettle. With that there was no looking back for Saif and he gave a series of hits like KAL HO NAA HO, HUM TUM, SALAAM NAMASTE, EK HASINA THI, PARINEETA, OMKARA, EKLAVYA ' THE ROYAL GUARD and the recent one being RACE establishing himself as one of the most bankable and sought after actors of the Bollywood.

He also won awards for his gratifying performances in the movies like HUM TUM, PARINEETA, OMKARA. HUM TUM won him his first national award. And now as per few sources today's hottest superstar Saif Ali Khan would be bestowed with one of the most prestigious honours 'Rajiv Gandhi Awards' for his contribution to Hindi Cinema.

The handsome 'Nawab' (Saif) is all happy with his success and looking forward to celebrate his 38th birthday (which falls on 16th August) with his ladylove Kareena Kapoor. It is heard that Kareena aka Bebo is planning to host a grand bash for beau Saif on his birthday.

While he plans to celebrate his birthday with his close friends and ladylove Kareena, by the time lets wish the Chhote Nawab a very rocking birthday and all the best wishes for his ongoing sparkling career.
