Panchi had said in many interviews that her character marries a man much senior in age. So may be they wanted to show it that way. This age difference is nothing compared to what Bani and Jai had in KS.

Thank you Opti for clarifying. So there's a age gap there, between Mills and Prachi which has not been highlighted in the show, the creatives have payed more attention to addressing the class differences between them which was a cause of some of the misconceptions that Milind shared of the rich rather than address the age gap.

@Opti: How old is JW compared to Bani?

Yas, I think Jai was 40 and Bani 23 when they got married. That makes it 17 years age difference.

As far as this show goes, they didn't highlight the age difference because this difference also existed between Milind and Ayesha. 7-8 years difference is still not looked at as a big one in many places. In fact the age difference between my parents is 7 years.

Not really... i have seen real life couples depicting a 8 year gap.... as long as people love each other age doesnt really make a difference.

i think prachi is 24...both her 21st and 22nd bdays were shown, a 6 month leap was shown after inders death (i think) and it seems michi have been married for a year and a half.
