Yash Tonk in Kyunki... as Shiv again

Yash Tonk, Shiv of Karam Apna Apna, is entering in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Shiv Singhania! Yash, who started shooting on August 6, gave us details about his character.

"Shiv Singhania is a business tycoon and Ganga's (Shilpa Sakhlani) obsessed lover. Both of them were in love and they shared some passionate moments with each other but then she left him and got married. Now he will try to bring her back in his life. It is a grey character but just a cameo for two months and that is what excited me a lot. Right now I am busy with these two shows and a film so I do not have time to take up any new project," he says.

Yash's entry is going to take place next week in very filmy way with the title track of the new Don playing.

Meanwhile, just a few days back, Yash returned from Australia where he was shooting for Main Aur Mrs.Khanna. "We shot for one and half months there. It was fun to be with Salman bhai, Kareena and Sohail. I somehow managed that and now the remaining part will be shot here so things will be less hectic," he signs off

Yash Tonk will be making a smashing entry next week on Balaji's flagship show 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', and the actor is excited to be a part of the grand show. For weeks Ganga played by Shilpa Saklani is shown tense about someone stalking her and finally the suspense will be revealed when Yash comes out in the open.

Yash Tonk will play the character of a suave business tycoon Shiv Singhania who is a blast from the past, he was in love with Ganga, but circumstances didn't allow them to meet. After years Shiv is back in Ganga's life and wants to possess her at any cost so he will be creating a lot of difficulties in her life. Yash is ecstatic about his entry in Kyunki and the look that the team has designed so get ready to see him after a long gap in prime time as the suave Shiv Singhania.

Yash in action on Kyunkii€

The new entrant amidst the galaxy of actors in Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thiis Yash Tonk . Yash has entered the show as Ganga€™s(Shilpa Saklani) past love and will have gray shades to his character.

Talking about his character, Yash says, €œI am playing Shiv Singhania who is filthy rich, powerful, sophisticated man and an obsessive lover. I was a part of Ganga€™s life but circumstances didn€™t allow us to end up together. Her exit from my life has brought a lot of changes in me. Now I want her back in my life at any cost. I will make it difficult for Ganga and her husband Sahil.€

Co-incidentally, Yash€™s character in his afternoon show Karam Apna Apna is also called Shiv. Is this a deliberate attempt a-la-SRK style to have the same screen-name? He is quick to rubbish it off saying, €œI never suggest any names. They came upto me with this role which they have named as Shiv Singhania. It seems they love to call me Shiv. Infact I am a great devotee of Lord Shiva so I feel fortunate to be called by this name.€

Yash€™s entry will be aired on 11 August at 10:30 pm on Star Plus.
