- anandi's grandmom in law yells at her son and his wife (anandi's in laws) for lying about the clothes
- a lady tells anandi's mom that anandi's friend his having an affair with another guy not her husband; mom tells anandi she can't play with her anymore
august 12:
- anandi's dad tells her mom that anandi is a good kid and not to worry about her
- jag's pregnant aunt dies delivering a baby (i think it's a girl, but not sure); the grandmom in law and her husband refuse to save her, even though anandi's in laws beg her to.
