Mumbai, July 29: Forget the gaudy overdone makeup or tightly wrapped navel revealing sarees, TV's favourite Bahus are all set to flaunt their curvaceous figures as they turn covergirls for international magazine Vogue's Indian issue.

The soap divas will be seen wearing the best of buys and trendy makeovers done from hair to toe. Speaking to a news daily, Tina Parekh said, When I walked in, it was a dream come true. You get to see the best clothes, the best make up, the best shoes and the best clothes from the best designers."

The August issue will feature the top soap queens like Shweta Salve, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Gauri Pradhan, Gautami Kapoor, Shilpa Saklani, Tina Parekh among others.

So what's the reason for this sudden shift from Bollywood to Tellywood?

According to Vogue's India editor Priya Tanna, movies may continue to influence the style and the minds of the youth nevertheless television's impact is going to surpass that of movies in the coming years.

Well for now, it would be fun to see the bahus turned babes on Vogue cover!
