Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor, who shared a special closeness during the shoot of their debut film, Saawariya, aren't on talking terms any more

The Ranbir Kapoor Sonam Kapoor relationship seems to have ended on a sour note. If sources are to be believed, Ranbir and Sonam have stopped talking to each other completely.

"Ranbir and Sonam were a couple," says our well-placed source in the industry. "Today they are not even on talking terms."

Our source adds, "After Deepika came into Ranbir's life, he and Sonam stopped talking completely. They have attended many social dos where Ranbir came with Deepika and the two of them consciously avoided crossing each other's paths.

Moreover, Ranbir and Deepika are constantly seen holding hands and cootchie-cooing at every opportunity. That is very tough on Sonam."

But why? Don't most Bollywood ex-couples exchange the customary greetings at least? Our source explains, "Most Bollywood ex-couples do exchange pleasantries but in Ranbir-Sonam's case, they were madly in love.

But suddenly, Ranbir started seeing Deepika after she split with cricketer Yuvraj Singh. Sonam is very hurt."

Our source adds, "Ranbir and Sonam are soulmates. During the shoot of Saawariya, if Bhansali pulled up Sonam for bad performance for a particular shot, it would be Ranbir who would console her.

If she felt low, he would comfort her. And vice versa."

Despite text messages, Ranbir and Sonam remained unavailable for comment. The friend adds, "Sonam will never admit that she and Ranbir are not in touch with each other. She is too reserved.

Above all, her hurt is so deep that she doesn't want to share it anyone."

Is the obsession with Ranbir and Sonam together never-ending? If we fans can see them as different individuals , then, why can't the media let them be? It hardly matters whether they were a couple or not - nobody knows really . Who did what to whom is immaterial when Sona and Ranbir have gone ahead with their lives. Sonam is on the steps to weaving stars forself as an actress...Ranbir is on the threshold of stardom with Deepika....that's it. Sonam and Ranbir have made their choices.....Ranbir is not the last man on earth for Sona and Ranbir has gone on his way. So, how about just letting Providence take it's course and stop harping on Sona-Bir's supposed Saawariyaism.😕

in interviews and everything Ranbir always had higer praises for Sonam than Deepika!! always..he says that Sona is special because she was his first co-star...that just proves that he and Sonam are friends...

"Sonam is so reserved" LMAO What a joke...Sona is a very outgoing and bubbly girl...she is not reserved from what I've seen from interviews....these media people have no life at all..leave the 3 of them alone!😡

exactly..in his recent interview in Filmfare..he has appriciated sonam more than deepika....what is medias problem....all 3 have moved on...now their fanz and media should also move on

gods sake sonam doesnt need any sympathy from any1 , she is beautiful , classy and elegant , 1000 of guys going lattooo over her every day.

i hate when she is shown as a " bechari girl " by media!!!

and even if they dated, why bother abt past? ranbir and deepika r seeign each other and r happy to b together..

sonam is also going to get busy with her stuffs,

This article is 100% fake. Sonam has cleared the Ranbir/Deepika issue in her most recent interview.......they were never going out, and Sonam herself states that she knew Ranbir liked Deepika for a while and she is happy for the two!

They share a good friendship, but don't talk as often now as before as they are both busy with work. Why can't the media understand that?

It's so stupid how the author says that they have avoided each other on many occasions.....err they have only ever been at one event together and that was Katrina Kaif's birthday party!

Sonam is not at all shy or reserved. The fans have moved on, and are looking forward to their new films, why can't the media?
