SONAM'S QUOTES
About Herself:
I like books a lot. When I was younger I finished Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, Enid Blyton rather than playing with dolls or going out. My friends hate that about me. But I love reading and movies because you can be in another world. I'm a nerd.
Crave to create. We lived in a very creative atmosphere. I loved watching Sridevi, Madhuri and Rani dance. I joined Kathak classes and learnt it for 12 years.
About Sanjay Leela Bhansali:
If I wanted to act with him, I would not have gone as a 90-kilo girl. I would have done my eyebrows, not worn glasses and at least groomed myself a little bit before going. That was not my intention, I was too young and I wanted to go to university but it was destiny or fate I don't know but I wanted to work with him.
About Ranbir Kapoor:
Ranbir is a childhood friend and one of my best friends. There's a comfort level that's always been there. So there was no competition. I know he's going to be a huge star so maybe I can get some mileage out of that too. So if the movie does well and he's going to be a huge star, maybe something will happen for me also.
About Rani Mukerji:
Well, basides being a family friend, Rani is one of my favourite actors and she was most amazing on the sets of Black, where I assisted Mr Bhansali. It was very touching that she knew all the assistants by name. When we would all sit down for lunch, she'd recount the most funny anecdotes. We'd just crack up all the time. But I actually realised what a genuine person she was when there was a continuity jerk with one of the assistants... It was on a close-up of Mr Bachchan and he's too senior for a mess up to happen. Rani realised what was happening and she quickly took the blame, saying it wasn't the assistant's fault but hers. That was such a learning experience for me.

So guys, tell me what do you think about Sonam Kapoor, a girl who who has graced several different magazine covers in a short period of time:
Cosmopolitan
Filmfare
Hello
L'Officiel
Seventeen
Stardust
Verve
Grazia
What do you feel about the Ranbir-Sonam Issue, do you wish they could have stayed together as a couple? Do they look better than Ranbir and Deepika?
What is your take on the SONABIR craze at the moment?
Are you looking forward to Dilli 6? What expectations do you hold of Sonam after Saawariya, which flopped? Although she was praised for her acting?
What do you think of the rumours surrounding Sonam and Kunal Kapoor? Who do you think Sonam would look good with in a film or in real life?
What opinion do you hold of Sonam as an actress & person? Do you think the fact her father is Anil Kapoor makes people have higher expectations of her?
Deepika Padukone won all the best female debutante awards last year while real life boyfriend and Sonam's co-star and ex Ranbir Kapoor won the all the awards for the best male debut. Although Sonam did win Stardust Superstar of Tommorow Award. Is this fair that Sonam got no awards and didn't even get any joint awards with Deepika? Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra one year got many joint awards for best female debutante.
Thanx Guys for Responding in Advance and you do not need to stick to the questions above. The questions are just there to get you thinking!!
