What do you feel about the Ranbir-Sonam Issue, do you wish they could have stayed together as a couple? Do they look better than Ranbir and Deepika?

What is your take on the SONABIR craze at the moment?

Personally, i don't think there is any issue between Ranbir and Sonam, as i don't think they dated in the past. They were good friends and still remain friends........the sonabir craze has died down, but i think people are still eager to see them onscreen again, since they shared such great chemistry.

Are you looking forward to Dilli 6? What expectations do you hold of Sonam after Saawariya, which flopped? Although she was praised for her acting?

I am looking forward to seeing Dilli 6, as it will be interesting to see Sonam in a much louder and fun role. Saawariya may not have been a huge success at the box office, but it did make some waves........imo Sonam acted very well in Saawariya, especially since she had so many shades to portray, so im sure she will be great in Dilli 6 as well.

What do you think of the rumours surrounding Sonam and Kunal Kapoor? Who do you think Sonam would look good with in a film or in real life?

Both Sonam and Kunal have stated that they are not dating, it's just the media jumping to conclusions from a 20 minute coversation, plus Sonam say's herself Kunal is way too old for her! Onscreen i'd like to see her with Ranbir (again), Imran Khan, John Abraham, Akshay Kumar and possibly a few others..............in real life, anyone who makes her happy :)

What opinion do you hold of Sonam as an actress & person? Do you think the fact her father is Anil Kapoor makes people have higher expectations of her?

As an actress, she comes across as someone who will get far.....she's very hardworking and i love how honest she is in interviews. She has bucket loads of talent, amazing style, and a beautiful personality........nothing about her screams fake or wannabe.

I think people do have high expectations from her since she is Anil Kapoor's daughter and im sure she will live up to them, whilst also carving her own identity and place in the industry.

Awards are just another form of appreciation for an individuals work and contribution (and im sure Sonam's time will come). I think it's more important for Sonam to do good films and leave a lasting impression of her roles/performance, since they are more memorable than a trophy.

The audience are more likely to remember a film/performance than who got what award, what year :)

I am a fan of both jodis(Ranbika and Sonabir) so its hard for me to say which one I prefer...IF Sonabir were going out in real I would prefer they had stayed together(it would atleast pare poor Deepika hatred from RK fans!😡) ad I think that when Saawariya was about to release everyone was craz for it and Sonabir and everything! I was one of them..but I think because of the film's outcome the craze has gone away.

I really dont believe in media..As Amrita Rao said in one of her interviews"The people believe that everything that's written in the paper is the Gita Kuran and Bible!"😆...so I really think media needs to get a life...if it is true.they make a cute pair and I would love to see them in movies togther😳.

As for future co-stars...the NEW generation has arrived..Harman,Shahid,Ranbir,Neil,Muzzambil,John,Hrithik...all of them will look great with her😳

Sonam is a very dignified and very mature for her age. She is again a very well established actress and she has a great future ahead of her. I think yeah it does..have that burden on her..but she can overcome it.👏

Deepika Padukone won all the best female debutante awards last year while real life boyfriend and Sonam's co-star and ex Ranbir Kapoor won the all the awards for the best male debut. Although Sonam did win Stardust Superstar of Tommorow Award. Is this fair that Sonam got no awards and didn't even get any joint awards with Deepika? Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra one year got many joint awards for best female debutante.

I thought that was VERY unfair.. ESP at the Zee Cine when the agve one award to Neil and NOT to Sonam😡. I really hoped and wished both would get atleast the awards or something.. but I think Sonam has the ability to make it big and she will win awards...ye awards ka silsila jaari rahega..it is never ending..so if she doesnt get 1 award its ok...aur ab bahaut baaki hai

i always find myself totally amazed and confused by her enigmatic personality mixed with childishness, unbeatable progressive attitude with lots of fear at heart, analytical abilities with little bit unknowing foolishness, harder than stone determination but softer than icecream mindset, unprecedented charm and simplicity

she has moulded herself according to every situation smoothly, balanced everything and has coped up with every joy and adversity, welcoming every new situation, every new thought.. and never complained or grumbled!! even if she got hurt she never spoke up or created any bad vibes!!

this girl rocks... and would rise up higher than you could ever imagine... 😃
One will always be pleased with every action... Every gesture... Every word of her...👏

lets talk abt something else , like ranbir kapoor issue.as far as sonam and ranbir r concerned they hv denied any kind of relationship they had , so we hav no rite to talk abt it... as far as on screen pair is concerned ranbir sonam definitely makes a gr8 couple.. and it is really unnecessary to bring in deepika into the whole issue.. why bother whether deepika and ranbir luk good or bad , when the topic is abt sonam??

now abt best debudant awards , well i feel it is not the most important thing in life.tushaar kapoor won the best debut and if this awards were soo imp he wud hav been a big name by now.. think abt rekha ji! i dnt think anyone remembers her first movie ... no one even noticed her , bt she is now the bollywood diva... for boosting morals definitely awards play important role bt as i said sonam is strong girl . she will do wel without them. again please dnt bring deepika here.. i hope this thread doesnt turn nto deepika bashing one. !!

I don't think that they were ever together so I was not crushed. But yes I can understand the sentiments of Sonabir fans after seeing the movie and their playfulness at SVOI. Even the skeptic in me thought it would be nice if they might be a couple. They are best friends so I think it is unfair to compare something onscreen to something real. Deepika is a beautiful girl so I think she looks good with Ranbir especially in the promos of BAH. And it nice to see that they are in love though I do think Ranbir is very lucky to have her.

I am so looking forward to Dilli 6 even before the casting was announced. A serious Rakyesh Mehra fan over here! Since my dad is originally from Delhi, it will be nice to see the sights that I remember from my childhood on the big screen. But with the casting of Sonam and Abhishek, I was even more happy. They are both tall and will match each other I think properly in terms of physicality and will look good together. And I like novel casting choices like this one. I do hold high expectations after Saawariya because I think she did a good job portraying a character that had so much depth to it. In fact I know alot of girls, who were mad at her after watching the movie because of what her character did to Ranbir in the movie. Also speaking of the previous films of Rakyesh Mehra, he has always extracted fine performances from his actors so I am only expecting that here.

I think they are nonsense as they have both denied them, and they seem quite flimsy without much evidence to back them up. In a film she would look good with Neil, Muzammil, Imran, or John. At least that is what I think right now. There are probably more names, but I am just thinking of the younger ones at the moment.

I think she is a good actress and will go a long way. She seems to be a very carefree but stylish person with an artistic bent. And being a kid in the industry, people do have high expectations. But they should because kids in the industry do that get that door opened for them. Having that door opened for you is half the battle as showbiz has alot to do with luck.

Sonam did deserve the best debut award over Deepika, who has not really shown her acting chops yet. There was so much potential Sonam showed in that performance. Deepika was in a more successful film but does that mean everything? In Bollywood, it does. Lara got lucky, I guess. Being in the same movie seems to be a better excuse to give a joint award that a deserving performance in unsuccessful film box office wise. If it was my decision, I would have given all of the best debut awards to Neil and Sonam last year.

She currently hasn't signed any new films but rumour has it that she might be doing a Yashraj film with Hrithik Roshan and another film with Shahid !
