Abheera’s profession

A little late but read a post on Reddit which made me wonder, why did Ab become a mechanic? Is it just makers lack of creativity? There were spoilers stating she gave up on law coz she lost her daughter’s custody but in the ep it wasn’t explicitly stated. Also she’s staying pretty close to Udaipur and hasn’t changed her name so technically she isn’t hiding from Meher. Toh mechanic hi kyu bani?

I’ve nothing against mechanics. It’s just a high effort low income job suitable for someone who isn’t well educated. Ab has a degree. She could’ve continued her law or assisted a lawyer. Or if they wanted to show her as middle class she could’ve continued her saree business or become a teacher. Kam se kam 20% interest pe loan toh nahi lena padta.

They wanted to degrade her more!

Because makers believe driver's daughter can easily do job of mechanic, they don't know that it is a field which involves knowledge and skills and mechanics are rich AF, not billionaire but definitely comfortable enough to be above poverty line

As for her lawyergiri, she couldn't even draft custody papers, she said she will find a good lawyer for it

Her entire journey was internship for Armaan's punching bag, she'll soon get the job back and I somewhat understand why she doesn't leave him, she has money only when she is with him otherwise she is a failure

The law degree her mother gained initially was for fighting Abhir's custody from Abhimanyu who didn't even know he has a son. The infamous Mumma's sapna to be a great lawyer has terrible foundation.

That's why Abheera never signed anything big as a lawyer independently without Poddar name tag.

In other way, being a car mechanic actually connects her to her hardworking late bio Father.

Still the leap reason is bs compared to the past gens!

It’s so funny makers degraded akshu”s character so much to degrade og legacy and uplift their fav legacy ,so in next season also she is blamed for everything that is negative in theirs season,means they have been successful in their vision
