Why is Kareena highest paid actress..?

I didn't see Kareena nominated for any role she did last yr, i don't see her anywhere near Rani, preity or even Aish. I wonder how come she is the most highly paid actress in Bollywood..? Any thoughts..?

Despite giving so many flops, she still gets great movies, and a huge amount of money. Just because of her family name.

so its ok 4 her 2 get good roles n flop em just coz she has a famous name but wh@ bout the new actresses th@ can act like ayesha from dil maange more or amrita from ishq vishq n main hoon na???? they r way more talented than other actresses these days th@ come from famous families n modellin

ya i agree. But these days her acting skills seem to be maturing. I am starting to like her more. Her acting skills are superb and yet i am also confused for the highest salary thing!

She is highest paid coz she deserves it no producer is such stupid who can pay anyone this big amount who is of no use....
And she wasn't nominated as best actress for any of her movie....but still she got an award....she got critics best actress award....and nomination doesn't matter....priety was also nominated but will have to go home empty handed....so kareena was better then her coz she wasn't nominated but still got an award which means she is not bad...ppl love her and love her acting thats y she got critics award and remember laet year she also got a special award.

n also i didn't know she was the highest paid actress...r they nuts even my cat can act better than her...lol...she overacts so much...n she thinks she is too gr8 n is obnoxious...i don't know what they see in her...

Kareena is not the highest paid actress in Bollywood...she charges 50 lakhs to 1 crore per movie...while Aishwarya charges about 2 crores per movie.Ash's last big hit was 4 years back in Devdas...if she can charge a ridiculous amount even after giving flops after flops so can Kareena.
